Say You Love Me

Chapter 5

"Grapes?" Armin asked. He was sitting with Eren and Mikasa at their usual lunch table. Mikasa was explaining how Eren has a crush on Levi.

"Yes, grapes. I'm not good on the spot." Mikasa laughed.

Eren sipped at his water and turned to her, "He thought we were together." Mikasa burst out laughing which made a few of the other students look over.

"Stop laughing like a maniac." Armin said. Mikasa glared at him but continued to giggle.

"Anyway, he helped me study and we kinda, you know, hugged..." Eren blushed and Mikasa laughed again.

"You didn't even get to first base." Armin joked. Mikasa hit him across the head.

"I think that's great progress." Mikasa smiled at him, "We just have to get rid of Petra."

Eren rolled his eyes, "I think she called him while you were gone."

Mikasa sighed, "Seriously I can't stand that woman."

"Why not?" Armin asked.

"She's only with him to be 'cool', she doesn't care about him." She said. "He deserves better. I just want him to realize it and dump her."

Eren put a hand on her shoulder, "Well, I'll treat him like a prince if it's any help to you." Mikasa laughed at him and they finished up their lunch.

As they were leaving Armin noticed Annie standing near by but didn't say anything to the others, she'd probably start trouble with Eren. What he didn't know was that she had heard the whole conversation.

Levi didn't like this, he didn't like
this one bit. He had a sick feeling in his stomach and it just felt, well it just felt wrong. He tried to take his mind off things and imagine something he did like, coffee maybe. Every time he looked down he just wanted to stop. How long will it last for?

"I don't think you're doing this right babe." He took his fingers out as Petra sighed, "Are you not in the mood or...?"

Levi sat on the side of the bed and put his t-shirt back on. He sighed and ran his hand through his hair, "No I don't think so."

Petra sat up and hugged him from behind, "Maybe you need something to turn you on?" She said while kissing his shoulder.

This is never going to happen Levi thought to himself. "I'm gonna go home. I just don't feel well."

Petra made a puppy dog face, "Aw, okay." She kissed him on the cheek and started to put her clothes on.

Levi stood up and put his shoes on. He walked towards the door and turned to her, "I'll call... Actually my phone broke." That's a lie...

"Oh it's okay." Petra said with a smile. He smiled back and left the room. He tried to leave the house as quickly as possible.

Once he was out he got in his car and called Eren. "Hello?" Eren answered.

"Hey, do you and Mikasa need a ride home or anything?" He asked while pulling out.

"Em... Yeah sure." Eren replied.

"Shit I think mom wants more grapes." He could hear Mikasa in the background.

"Mikasa! He's on the phone!" Armin yelled.

Levi rolled his eyes, "I'll be there in a few." He hung up and smiled to himself on the way there.

"But why did he call me?" Eren asked Mikasa. They were waiting with Armin until Levi got to the school.

Mikasa shrugged, "Maybe he doesn't like me."

"But why did he call ME?" Eren exclaimed.

Mikasa shrugged, "Maybe he likes you."

Eren grabbed Mikasa by the shoulders and shook her, "Mikasa focus!"

Armin pushed Eren away from her, "Stop, people are looking again."

Eren turned to him slowly with the look of death in his eyes. "I don't care if people are looking, Armin. I'm having a crisis and you two, my friends, don't seem to care. If this actually turns out the way I want it to, it only goes up from there. Boyfriend, husband, babies."

"M-preg." Mikasa whispered.

"Can I have a little advice here people?" Eren pleaded.

"Sounds like something from desperate house wives." Mikasa said. "And he's here."

They all turned to see Levi pulling up. He rolled the window down and smiled straight at Eren, "Get on in there." He laughed.

Oh hell I will, Eren said to himself. He approached the car as Mikasa spoke, "Damn, Armin and I need to be somewhere."

Before Armin could protest Mikasa pushed him across the road, away from the car. Eren looked at Levi and smiled.

"Looks like its just the two of us." Levi said. Eren got in the front seat beside him and they drove off.

They drove to a smoothie place not too far from the school and stepped inside. As they were waiting for their drinks Levi asked Eren, "What were Mikasa and Armin doing?"

Eren smiled, "I think they had to, em, go to, eh, I dunno." They both started laughing.

They got their drinks and sat down at a table near the window. "Mikasa's a weirdo." Levi joked.

"You should talk to Armin some time." Eren laughed.

Levi took a sip of his drink and smiled, "So what are you planning to do after school?"

Eren looked down at his drink, "Well, I was planning on moving to Germany because there's a college there that my dad went to so you know, he wants me to go." Levi nodded and sipped at his drink again. "What are you doing after college?" Eren asked.

"No idea." Levi laughed, "I'd like to own my own coffee shop but, it's kind of stupid right?"

Eren smiled at him, "No way."

Levi smiled back, "It would be one of those cool coffee shops where people would come and read poetry and sing songs and just perform cool stuff you know?" Eren smiled as Levi told him about the coffee shop. He was thinking of how beautiful Levi was and how lucky he was to be talking to him right now.

When they finished there smoothies Levi drove Eren home and they hugged before Levi went home. Eren thought he was falling in love. That's definitely something he wouldn't mind, he wouldn't mind it at all.
