I put my coat on and slipped on my Toms. As soon as I ran out to the car my mom started up the car. I gave her a warm smile.
"Hey mom, excited I see?" I gave her a huge smile showing all of my teeth. She nodded and a tear came down her eye. I decided a hug would help her a bit. And it did.
"Hey, Taylor did you grab the tickets?" She asked me. I nodded and we were on our way. The whole car ride insisted of us talking about what we're going to ride. The Vortex will be the first and The Banshee will have to be one as well. We got there in what felt like 3 minutes of jamming out but was actually 3 hours of jamming out.
"Mom, I'm so excited!" I screeched.
"Me too, Tay." She smiled. We took our clothes off and put them in the locker we had just bought. We grabbed our towels and ran to the wave pool. Just in time actually. We ran to the deepest end and the waves took us over. All I heard were muffled voices and my moms laugh. I opened my eyes and smiled at her. For the next two minutes we just have each other glances. I started to hum the song that was on.
Just remember that we lay under the same stars.
The waves stopped and my mom grabbed my hand so we could get to our locker quicker. I grabbed my clothes and our them over my bathing suit, as my mom did the same. We ran to the Vortex and waited in the long line.
"Mom 6:00." I smirked. She looked behind me and tapped the boys shoulder. He was tall, maybe 6'3. He was very muscular and had shaggy brown hair with blue eyes. He looked at all of my features and I did the same. He bit his lip and I blushed. Finally, he spoke up.
"Yes, mam?" He asked my mom.
"My daughter thinks your pretty cute." My eyes widened and she winked at me. I groaned and put my hands on my face. He took them off my face.
"Hey, don't cover your face. I think your pretty cute too. I'm Alex, and you are?" He asked waiting for a response.
"Taylor. Taylor Matthews." He nodded. As if on cue, we got to the ride. I sat in between my mom and Alex. We were talking for a few minutes and the ride shot up. I screamed and grabbed Alex and my mom's hands. When the ride finished, my mom had to start something.
"Alex, dear, would you like to join us?" She gave him a smile. He nodded.
"Yes I would love to, miss."
"Please, call me Samantha." He nodded and we ran to the Banshee. Nobody was in line which was surprising for me. We all got on and the ride started to go up. Something didn't feel right at all. I held on to Alex like there was no tomorrow. I held on to my mom's hand and squeezed hard. The ride made a sharp turn and I realized there was no bottom on the ride anymore. It was just the cart. I blinked a few times and zoned everyone out. My mom looked over at me. Before I could grab a hold of her, she flew out of the cart. I still had a hold of her hand. I heard Alex screaming, 'Don't let go.' I didn't let go of her, until we hit the ground. She was still alive, thankfully. I looked over to see Alex passed out.
"ALEX!" I yelled. His eyes shot open.
"Woah there." I pulled him in a hug and ran back over to my mom. Then I faced the cart with small children holding on to their parents.
"Is everybody okay?" I saw some people fell out of the cart. Thank goodness I was holding on to my mom. I heard a bunch of 'Yes.' and I heard crying. I grabbed my their hands and we started to walk to the bathroom. I cleaned up my mom, then Alex.
"Lets never go on roller coasters, okay?" They both nodded in unison.
