The Sun slowly pulls it's curtains down
Behind the horizon its light will soon drown
Colours turn from golden to red
Until black and blue surface instead
Moonlight floods earth and seas
Its delicate silver robe finally released
With stars behind , it rises above all
Glorious until morning when it will fall
Snows softly tinged with argent glitter
Sparkling crystals hide then skitter
Ice stalactites rythmically drip
A monotone sound till a piece might snip
A northern breeze takes leaves off the ground
Whispering swifly, blows them around
Ladybirds hidden in the bark of an oak
A shield protecting, not letting them soak
Pine needles whirl erraticly in the sky
Lowered again, then lifted up high
Faraway stars proudly glisten
And an owl for a prey attunedly listens
But soon the snowflakes will melt away
As obscurity crawls back and light will stay
However this cycle continues whatever
Everyday changing, and this forever.
