Chapter 17 - Cell Walls

I swore and cussed and shouted the whole journey, or as much as I could until the pain was pounding throughout my body. Noah was silent and it was scaring me, I didn't know if he could handle himself, let alone me in the state I'm going to get myself in, if I don't get shot up soon. Tayte, Angelo and Arii were in a taxi following us, since the police officers weren't so forth coming in telling us where we were being taken. So when we pulled up outside the precinct I was relieved, more for Noah's sake than mine. I was expecting us to be rolling up outside some prison and to be thrown in, never to see the light of day, ever again.

Noah's POV

Thinking about it, punching a police officer wasn't exactly a very good idea. I know I haven't had the best dealings with them, but if that stays on my record I'm pretty screwed. Noah Linkoln - Assaulting a police officer. Damn it. But I knew I had to do something, the situation was a load of bullshit and Keane was no way in hell going to cope on his own, I don't even know how he was still standing, it was obvious to tell he was in pain, so after nearly being hit by a car, to having his lungs scorched by smoke, to then being roughly manhandled, I knew he craved morphine, for both the pain and his own pleasure in feeling, normal I guess.

I was kind of relived to find that we weren't outside a prison ready to be thrown in and never seen again, because for one, we were fresh meat and two, we were English. Oh lord, if I go to prison I think I'll die before I get there. Tell me how many homosexual inmates survive in a rough South African prison. Then again I'd be their little fuck boy, so perhaps I would survive. Thankfully the door opened, distracting my dysfunctional mind and I was hauled out along with Keane,

"Hey, hey, less of that. Do you not see I can't fucking walk fast," they ignored him, "Oi you prick, have you ever been shot? Because I have and I can tell you it God damn hurt, so quit...dragging me" he was going to get into more trouble if he didn't shut up,

"Keane, leave it" I said,

"No talking" the officer snapped,

"Shut up" Keane shouted at him, "Yeah, I'll try kiddo" He then said to me, I couldn't help but roll my eyes.

"Where are you taking them?" Tayte said, the three of them had just ran out of the taxi,

"They will be interviewed and interrogated and that is all the information I am giving you," that didn't sound too good,

"You can't do this" Angelo said, "You didn't tell them why they were arrested and you are treating them as if they are scum"

"They will be notified of their arrest when we interview them. You can wait here for them, but they will not be released for 24 hours"

"Just go, go and get someone to sort this shit out" Keane said, Angelo looked at me,

"We'll be back; I promise you'll be out tomorrow"

5 hours later after an intense interview, separately might I add, I hadn't seen Keane in all that time, I just hoped he hadn't done anything stupid, like try and fight them or something. I was being thrown into a cell for the night, I noticed a body curled up in the corner of the cell that I was roughly pushed into and the door slammed shut behind me,
