Like I'm gonna lose you (Clawen)

Airport

CLAIRE'S POV

We had to get a taxi to the airport, it was a 45 minute drive. "Owen, err do you have somewhere to stay?" I asked nervously. "Yeah I was gonna stay at my parents" Owen replied but he didn't look at me. "Oh okay I'm going back to my place in Wisconsin" I tried to hide the disappointment in my voice. "My parents live in Minnesota" he said as he let go of my hand. I knew that Owen was too good to be true but I needed him to stay with me, he made me feel safe.

Luckily there was no queue at the ticket office. Owen managed to get the last seat on the flight to Minnesota. Karen got my ticket along with her family's. There wasn't long to wait only about 20 minutes before we were allowed to board on both flights. "...and then Owen came in on his motorbike..." Gray was giving his parents a very detailed description about the Jurassic World incident. "So...guess this is it then" Owen said getting up. "Yeah" my voice cracking slightly. "Bye boys" he said giving my nephews a high-five each. "Bye Owen" they replied cheerfully. "Nice meeting you Karen, you too Scott. I'll try to be in touch, Claire. Have a safe flight" Owen hugged me before walking off to his gate. I was going to miss him.
We boarded the plane which was only half full but with still had 10 minutes till departure. I sat on my own behind everyone and stared out the window thinking about Owen.

OWEN'S POV

I was gonna miss Claire so so much. After all we've been though, I felt so guilty about leaving her. "Next" the stewardess called. I slowly walked up to her. What a co incidence I thought, her name was Claire as well. "What am I doing" I stated. "Are you okay Sir?" She asked. "I gotta go" I shouted as I sprinted off to the other side of the airport. Luckily Claire's plane hadn't left yet, so I still had time. I brought a ticket to Wisconsin, hoping that my seat was next to Claire. My heart was pounding as ran to the gate. I made it just in time for the final boarding call. I scanned the plane for my seat and Claire. I found my seat and my heart stopped, when I saw the distressed red head staring of the window. "Hey" I said softly. "Owen" she gasped, Claire jumped up and pulled me into an embrace. "What..What are you doing here?" She said. Claire looked as if she'd been crying making her diamond blue eyes puffy. "I had to come back for you" I said smiling. "But I...err have no where to stay, so I was...err hoping that..." I stuttered but Claire cut me off. "Of course you can stay with me." Her smiled was so cute.

Claire and I decided to try and get some sleep. "Aunt Claire...Owen?!? What!! How??" Gray said turning around. "Owen?!?" Zach also turned around. "I decided I wanted to stay with your Aunt for a bit" I said rubbing my bleary eyes. "Owen?!?" Karen poked her head up from behind the boys. All the commotion had woken Claire up. "Errm... We're landing soon" Karen said shooting Claire a confused look. "Owen decided to stay me instead" she sounded confused herself. "Yep" I spoke up and gave Claire's hand a little squeeze. "Well...Errm Okay then" Karen said sitting back in her seat.

We landed in the next 15 minutes and Claire called a Taxi to take us back to her place. We said goodbye to the Mitchells before heading off.

A/N: Hey guys my mum took my phone away last night so I couldn't update. I'm you guys are liking it so far. My Zach Mitchell fanfic is coming to an end so I will be updating this more regularly.
