Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1

Ashley's Pov

"Jeb, please let me hang out with you and Rocky" I begged.

"No, he's my friend Ash. Find your own" he laughed.

"But you know I like him" I whined.

"It wouldn't work out anyway, you guys are five years apart." he shrugged.

"Pleassseeee"

"Fine if you leave me alone you can come" he sighed, and with that I left his room.

Let me introduce myself, I'm Ashley Boswell. I live in California; I've lived here all 15 years of my life. Anyways, my brother is best friends with Rocky Lynch, a super hot 20 year old who just happens to be in my favorite band. My brother and I live with our parents, Kim and Micheal. This is my last summer with my brother before he leaves for college so I want to spend every minute I can with him, and by that I mean I want to spend every minute I can with Rocky.

"ASHLEY LET'S GO" Jeb yelled from the living room. I ran down the stairs and out the front door. "Freak" Jeb mumbled as I passed him.

We got in Jeb's car and drove to the Lynch's house. When we arrived a got out of the car and walked to the front door with Jeb. He knocked on the door and Rocky opened it.

"Hey Jeb" Rocky said as he let us in. 'Rude you could've said hey to you future wife' I thought to myself.

"Ashley didn't wanna stay home alone so I told her she could come" my brother lied. I smiled at Rocky.

"That's cool I don't mind" he shrugged. We followed rocky to his room. Rocky and Jeb sat on the ground and grabbed their controllers. I sat on the bed and watched them play.

About a hour into the game Ross came in. "Hey guys" he said sitting next to me on the bed. "Haven't seen you in a while Lil Ash" he chuckled.

Ross has always called me 'Lil Ash' and I HATE IT!

"Ahaha same" I sent him a death glare.

"Mom said we are having a pool party tonight. You guys should come." Ross sighed laying down.

"Sounds good" Jeb answered.

"Well bye. I just had to tell you that" he said and jumped off the bed.

"I'm gonna go get a drink" Jeb said setting his controller down.
He left the room leaving me and Rocky...alone.

"Hey kiddo come play" Rocky said as he patted the ground next to him. I went and sat down next to him. "I'm not a 'kiddo' I'm 15" i playfully rolled my eyes.

"Same thing" he shrugged and continued the game. "So when will you be 16?"

"January" I frowned.

"That's not that far away" he pushed my shoulder "it's only 7 months"

I smiled.

"I'm back" Jeb said holding a glass of water.

Jeb sat next to me, leaving me between him and Rocky. They boys played for another hour until Jeb decided we needed to home and get ready for the pool party.

"We'll see you guys tonight" Rocky smiled as we left.

"See ya" Jeb and I said in unison
