Chapter Three:

Sandra felt awkward standing here outside the Borussia Dortmund's men's changing room. Even though there were only three people changing, including Marco, she couldn't help but feel like she was incredibly weird being here, like she was desperately waiting for a player to come out as if she was some crazy football fan.

Marco requested her this morning to wait for her by the changing room while he gets ready so that they could go into the office together. She would've suggested that she could meet him in the building, but she knew that she would most likely find herself getting lost.

"Sandra? Are you ready to go?" Marco asked. He was wearing his BVB training kit as he had training right after the meeting with the head of the company (Uncle Silva), his ex-manager Elisabeth and his current manager Sandra.

To be honest, Marco felt a little odd that his manager was younger than him, and that she could easily just boss him around, but he could easily boss her around too.

"Yeah, come on." Sandra muttered and walked forward without waiting for him. She was still mad at him for what happened the night before, and vowed to herself not to trust him with the truth ever.

Marco noticed her hostility and was confused to why she was acting off all morning. He thought that last night they were okay, and when he dropped her and Felix home, she seemed perfectly fine.

Once he caught up with her, he asked "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." Sandra grumbled and kept on walking on.

"You're not fine, Sandra." Marco said, a little worried. "C'mon, stop walking so fast. What's wrong?"

Sandra stopped. She looked back at him and gave him a look of venom. "You want to know what's wrong?" She asked a little too loudly. "This whole fucking job is wrong!" Now she was shouting. She realized this and pulled on her calm face. "After a day with you, Marco, I've lost all my patience. Can we just go back to acting like professional client-managers until the next few months are over?" Sandra asked in a calmer manner.

Marco nodded numbly. He hadn't thought that he had caused that much pain to her. This made him feel hurt as well. He stopped pestering her as they walked to the office in silence.

Once they had reached the huge room, Uncle Silva greeted them cheerfully. "Sandra, Marco! How was your first day together?" He asked smiling.

"It was fine." Sandra mumbled and walked over to sit next to Elisabeth on the table.

Marco just shrugged at the man and proceeded to join the two ladies sitting at the table.

"Okay, then." Uncle Silva said awkwardly. "Something happened, and I need to know what it was." He asked more sternly now, looking at the two intently.

Sandra did was not hesitant into telling her uncle about what had happened, but Marco on the other hand was, but he knew that the right thing to do was take the blame for the mess he had made. "It was my fault. I made Sandra do something that she shouldn't have needed to do and I got her mad at me." Marco said quietly. He turned to Sandra now. "Sandra, please forgive me. I promise I won't do anything like that ever again, it was so stupid." He apologised.

Sandra's mouth twitched. As angry as she was with him, she couldn't help but become a little amused at how pleading he was. She didn't expect him to take this so seriously, especially after how he acted the night before. In her mind, she was still contemplating on how to respond to him; after all he did make her first day on the job a living hell.

"Fine, I forgive you." Sandra sighed, and a look of relief washed over Marco's face. "But that doesn't mean you can use me as one of you props." She said warningly, narrowing her eyes.
