Chapter 4

Raven's POV

I woke up alone in bed. The first thing I did was look at my phone. I had 3 messages from my mom and 5 messages from different friends then I looked at the time. It was 9:30 am. I got out of bed and went to the kitchen.when I passed the library, I saw Johnny reading a book. I went inside the library, "I thought you don't read books?" I said jokingly. "I don't, I was just starring." He said sarcastically and retuned the book. "Have you eaten yet?" I asked. "Not yet, I was waiting for you" he said walking towards. "What time did you wake up?" I asked. "About two hours ago." He said opening the door. I followed him outside. "Aren't you hungry yet?" I asked. "I'm actually starving." He said. I was impressed he had the patience to wait for me. "Then why haven't you eaten yet?" I asked him a little shocked. "I was waiting for you." He said smiling. "So, whose cooking?" I asked. "Well, it has already been cooked." He said while opening to kitchen doors. I tell you, there was a lot of food. It was like fit for a king. "Who cooked these?" I asked. "The chefs did." He said. "You have chefs? Woah." I said. "C'mon lets eat." He said while he pulled me a chair and food were laid in front of us. I only had 3 pieces of pancakes. Johnny had bacon and eggs. After I ate, I remembered that I needed to text my mom. So I excused myself, then ran up to Johnny's room. There was 2 missed calls from my mom. I guess she was worried, so I called her back. "Hello?" I said, "Hey, where are you?" She asked sounding a little worried. "I'm fine, I'm gonna be going home in a while then I'm gonna go back here, K?" I asked, I was planning on inviting Johnny to my house. I'm just gonna get my clothes and go back here if Johnny is OK with it.

I saw 2 messages from Brandon, 1 message from Amy, she's my best friend, and 2 from my sister. My sister was actually somewhere in Europe with her friends. Brandon just said "Hi" twice. Amy asked "Where are you? Wanna hang out later?". I didn't reply my sister. I told Amy that I was at Johnny's place and I asked where were we going. My sister asked how's mom. I said she's fine. "Hey Johnny, I think I'm gonna take off." I said. "Sure, want me to take you home?" He asked. "Oh, sure! Where do you live anyway?" I asked. "15 houses away from your house on the same side." He said helping me got ready. "Wow, you counted that?" I asked, surprised, "I counted yesterday when I was going to your house. Are you ready?" He asked. "Yeah, let's go." I said.

Johnny's POV

I was really sad that Raven was leaving. We were both leaving to China in two days I think we have the same flight. I walked her home. "Hey, Johnny. Wanna go inside my house?" She asked, we were like 4 houses form her house. "Oh, sure." I wanted her to sleep next to me tonight. "I think I'm gonna go back to your house later, I mean if its OK." She said. I was filled with happiness. "Yeah, you can come over anytime you want." I said. "Thanks!" She said then she gave me a kiss on the cheek. When we entered her house, I was way smaller from my house but I didn't care because it was still a home. After a few steps into her house, there was a dog that ran to me. "That's my dog, Maxim, he's a.." She said. "Golden Retriever." I interrupted. I got a text from my mom. She told me to pack. I totally forgot to pack. "Raven, I need to got going. See you later?" I asked. "Yeah, I think I'll sleep over again. If its OK." She said. "It's totally fine, bye." I kissed her on her forehead and headed out.
