Chapter 10 Pre-Winter Formal

-It's 15th January, Winter Formal-

Laura's POV

''Aria, get me my dress and lay it on my bed! Autumn, go change! Vanessa, help me with the make-up," I ordered.

Today is winter formal. Ross had already asked me to be his date a couple weeks ago.

"Laura, I've already laid the dress out, now I'm going to change!" Aria told me.

"Thanks Aria! Go to Vanessa's bathroom! Mine's occupied," I said.

From the mirror, I saw her nod and leave my room.

"Laur, do you want your hair to be straight or curly?" Vanessa asked.

"Curly," I answered.

"Okay!" Vanessa said, heating up the magic wand.

Meanwhile, she applied dark purple eyeshadow, mascara and blush on me. Last, a light coating of pink lipgloss.

After the make-up, I changed into my dress, which Vanessa and I had picked out on our Sisters' Day Out. It was a short strapless red dress with a decorative diamond band in the middle. (A/N: Pic in the media) Simple, yet gorgeous. To top it off, I put on the heart necklace Ross had given me on my birthday and some silver heels.

I walked out of the bathroom. Aria and Autumn's make-up had already been finished by Vanessa.

"Guys? How do I look?" I broke into their conversation.

All three of them turned to me and broke into huge grins.

"You look so gorgeous, little sis!" Vanessa squealed.

"Twirl around, Laur!" Autumn said, with Aria nodding excitedly beside her.

I twirled, making the dress spread out.

"Oh my gosh Laura! Ross will be sooooooo in love with you, you look literally flawless!" Aria yelled.

"Okay first, thanks so much, Aria. You look great too. Second, don't yell! I'm literally standing less than a feet away from you," I rolled my eyes.

"Okay first, you get a flawless and all I get the same old great? No fair. Second, okay! I won't yell," Aria mocked me.

"Okay first, you look awesomazing, so now it's fair. Second, I'm glad you won't yell anymore," I replied.

"Okay first, that sounds forced. Second-" Aria began.

"ALRIGHT STOP!" Vanessa and Autumn yelled in unison.

I shrugged and went up to Vanessa.

"Ness, thank you so much for helping us. You're the best," I hugged her.

"You're welcome. It was really fun to be honest," she replied.

We pulled away once we heard the doorbell ring.

"I'm gonna go get the door. Wait at the top of the stairs until I call out your name okay?" Vanessa said, leading the three of us to the stairs.

We nodded and stood at the top, while Vanessa went down the stairs to open the door.

"Welcome in, boys," we heard Vanessa say.

"Oh my gosh, I am freaking out. What if Ross doesn't this outfit? What if the other girls look much more gorgeous than me and Ross will ditch me? What if I embarrass myself in front of Ross? What if-" I started freaking out.
