ALICES POV:

I still remember that chilly fall day. It started off just like any other day. My older brother and I was on our way to school. I was 13 at the time and he was 15. We took our usual path except we didn't make it to school that day. We were about a block away from the school when a man dressed in all black hit my brother in the head and knocked him out and then grabbed me and threw me into his van. I was so scared I didn't know what to do. I screamed for my brother who was left lying in the middle of the sidewalk.

MAX POV: When I woke up I had a terrible pain in my head. I glanced around for my sister but she was no where to be found. I pulled out my cell phone and called my mom. My mom ran from the other side of town to get to me.

BAYLEA POV: I left work as soon as Max called. I had no idea what had happened and I was so scared of what had happened to my babies. I got there in less than 20 minutes and I found Max laying on the side walk. I was to scared to move him so I called 911. The police and the ambulance got there soon after. The EMT picked Max and put him on a stretcher. Then the police started to ask Max questions.

MAXS POV: The police asked me what had happened. I started to cry while telling them the little bit I knew. I was suppose to protect my little sister and I had let her down. I could not bare to think what was happening to her.

ALICE'S POV: I was tied up and was laid in the back of the van. I could barely move. We drove for what seemed hours. Then finally we got to where we were going. The man blind folded me and led me into a building. Once inside we took a left and then a right and when down a flight of stairs. When he took the blindfold of I was sitting in a pitch black room. When my eyes adjusted I could see other girls laying chained up on the ground. They looked starved and were barely clothed.

BAYLEA'S POV: We sent out an amber alert and Alice's pictures were everywhere including the national news. Two days went by and I was worried sick. I finally went for a interview for the news. I told them "to please let her come home" "and there would be no questions asked. " I just wanted my baby girl home to where I knew she was safe.

Two months later the cops had given up hope but I did not. I put her picture all over social media and even on milk cartons.

ALICE'S POV: I had given on hope of ever getting out of this Hell hole. But luckily I had my chance to escape. He unchained me so I could stretch. I hit him repeatedly until I knocked him out. I ran up the stairs and out of the house. I ran to the nearest store and told the clerk who I was and he called 911. The police notified my mom and brother and they drove a thousand miles just to come get me.

BAYLEA'S POV: I was so relieved when I got that phone call. I jumped in the car and sped to the small town of Carterville to reunite with my daughter. It was bitter sweet. I had my daughter back but she did not seem the same. She seemed more scared, less confident. She ended up having to go to counseling for the nightmares she was having about what she went through.

MAXS POV: I was so happy to have my little sister back. I told her I was sorry for not protecting her. And I told her how much I missed and loved her and how happy I was for her to be home.

ALICE'S POV: I was soo happy to be reunited with my family and friends again. And I was even more excited when I was told that we never had to walk to school again.
