Falling for the Damned

Prologue

*** five years later ***

The sun rose on the frosted plains of Ireland, the crisp feeling of the rays hitting the side of my face begging for me to notice their little light show. Slowly I open one eye and look out the tall French windows situated parallel to me and watch the soft greens and blues of the outdoors scene as it sinks into my memory. Out in the far corner I can spot the beginning of a field full of purple flowers. The sight is something I can honestly get used too. I begin to feel rustling from behind me and see Levi stirring around trying to wake himself up. Staying in the same place facing the window I wait for Levi to be fully awaken, so he can enjoy the sight as much as I do, nature is his sort of his thing. He starts to put a set of arms around my chest and pulls me closer to him in order to close the space between us. That space which feels like a million miles apart, so easily pushed together by the simplest of gestures. Hesitantly I move my head over a few inches so he will be able to see what I see outside. As I hear a sharp intake of air and later the exhalation of pure pleasure I know Levi can see the green fields of Ireland.

''Wow... Eren... Are you seeing what I'm seeing.'' I giggle a little at his response to the captivating scenery in front of us. ''Yeah I see it babe.'' Replying in my groggy morning voice which Levi loves oh so very much. Swiftly I turn around to face the shorter man who occupies half the bed I'm laying on and stare into his gray eyes. Those eyes which I've come to fall in love with, those very eyes that save me from doing anything to rash or dangerous. I love seeing the emotion that just stays there swimming in the same circles for all eternity, having not even the slightest idea they are trapped in such magnificent eyes. I watch his eyes as his pupils begin to dilate bigger and bigger staring between me and the green, fresh field that lies right beyond our window. Such thin glass separating us from burying our toes into the soft enchantingness of the grass.

''I love you Eren.'' He smiles at me and leans his forehead on mine and I can feel his steady breathes on my cheeks. His lashes brush my cheek softly making me fall for him so hard. ''I love you Levi.'' Closing the space between us I plant a passionate kiss upon his lips. When he pulls away he hums my way. I can see it all, all of it there in his eyes. Every secret ever known to makind might as well be stored in those beautiful grey eyes of his. ''I know...'' Levi leans in to brush his lips against mine like he does every time he teases me except this time, he is trying to show how he cares and loves me. I'm so lucky to have such a great man as a boyfriend, I couldn't imagine anyone else lying here beside me, enjoying this morning with me, soon to adopt our first child with me. If it weren't Levi I don't want anyone else.

As I make my way to the mirrors in the hotel room I catch a glimpse of Levi fumbling with something in his hand. Ignoring what my head is saying I make my way into the bathroom and start the shower. We have a big day ahead of us, we're going to adopt our first child and bring her back home to live with us in America. She won't be the only one we'll ever adopt, we plan on getting many more so my mom can have all the grandchildren she wants. Although me and Levi would love to have biological children, Levi hates the idea of another women carrying our baby that isn't related or, me basically. Honestly I wouldn't mind, I just want one kid that looks somewhat like either me or Levi I don't care but leaning more toward Levi's side. He has a better facial structure and his eyes are something anyone can get lost in, not to mention his great body he seems to acquire just by sitting on the couch and eating junk food. I turn the water off and dry myself to the best I can and put on my clothes before slipping out the bathroom. What I see next is not what I had been expecting. The words come flying out of my mouth before I can register what is happening.

''Well I guess today is gonna be a big day huh?"
