I stared out the window, Lucas and Haven still talking. The bus screeched to a halt we reached pris- school. I got up quickly, tightening my strap on my messenger bag. I sprinted out of the bus, loving the hell out of school right then.
"HANNAH! WAIT UP!" Lucas yelled.
I quickened my pace, the fall leaves crunching under my boots. I sighed as he caught up to me. "What is with you?!" He said falling into my step. I rolled my eyes like a 'HAH! like you even care'
He turned back to Haven who was currently talking to a blond girl known as Annabeth Hitch.
I felt a slight twinge of jealousy but this was all Lucas's fault... Or was it mine?..
