She walked to the edge with her sister. Her eyes wandered to the riders, the soldiers on horses. This is what war feels like? A voice behind them. "Princess Yona, Princess Yuri, we should go."
The orange haired female gave a slight nod, hood on her head. "It's cold up here." her sister said.
"Well this is among the mountains..." the voice replied.
The red-head looked up, thinking, 'Back then, I didn't know how cold it was outside the castle.'
The red-head's sister felt the wind blow as her cape hood fell off. Her eyes traveled to the sky as her hair flew into her face. Her head had many thoughts, but one ruled over all, 'How long was it since I was in the palace?'
Yuri sat on the stool, a lady fixing her wild orange hair. "This always happens. It's fine. No one will even notice." Yuri tried.
"Nonsense! Today is you're birthday, Princess Yuri. You have to look nice." the lady told her.
Yuri tapped her foot on the floor, humming and waiting. When she fell something in her hair, she raised her hand and pat it. "What is this?"
"It's a clip, Princess." the lady told her.
Yuri stood up, looking at the mirror. "I look pretty..." she smiled and ran out the door. Sneaking by her father, King Il, she reached the courtyard, where the citizens were. Crawling near the floor, "Lily? Where are you?"
A girl with short brown hair peeked from behind a man. "Princess Yuri!"
"Just Yuri is fine. Let's go to the castle?" Yuri smiled, crouching. Lily nodded and Yuri grabbed her hand. Standing up, she ran, pulling the girl's hand.
A voice echoed. "Yuri?" Yona had been talking to Su-Won...
"Yona?" Lily hid behind her, as Yuri opened her mouth to speak, she shut it again. "Su-Won..."
Yuri never stood a chance when it came to her sister. She was prettier, more princess-like. What person would love a girl like her. It was obvious being with Su-Won made her happy. It was also obvious that Su-Won loved to hang out with Yona. But she never saw light in the eyes of people who hanged out with her. Even Lily. They wanted to boast how they hung out with the Princess Yuri. Nothing more. Yuri smiled. "Good afternoon, Su-Won, big sister, Yona. I trust you are having a good time in the palace?"
Yuri was never a real fan of Lily, but she was kind. Lily was a kind person so she had to play with her.
But when she turned to Lily, she was already gone. No one wants to hang out with her... No one. Yuri sighed. She felt something on her head. "Huh? Hak..."
The black haired male smirked. "Hey there, Princess Yuri."
"Hak..." Yuri sighed. "That hurts..."
Hak dropped his arm off her head. She looked at the direction her sister and Su Won had went. Her face fell in unhappiness. "Big sis, Yona, doesn't know you love her? When are you going to tell her?"
"I thought we weren't gonna talk about something so stupid again." Hak told her.
Yuri stuck her tongue out. "You going to practice you bow and arrow with Su-Won?"
Hak smiled. "Yep. You coming?"
Yuri sighed. "Of course. I'll meet you there, 'servant'." she told him, using her sister's nickname.
