I wake up to my parent screaming at me to get up and do something with my life. I get up throw on some skinnies, my of mice & men shirt and throw my hair in a loose bun. I grab my bag and walk out of my bedroom and straight to my front door as I pull a cigarette out of my secret stash I have. I light my cig and walk down the street a little while to my best friend Nathaly's house. I can see her sitting on the porch and I quickly put out the cigarette and run. She stops me and freaks. "Nicky. One day those things will kill you. You have to stop." I roll my eyes and whisper a snide comment to myself. " What the hell did you just say?" I try to walk away but she grabs my shoulder. "I said unless I kill myself first." Crying she says "I saw your wrist through the bracelets yesterday and honestly you need to stop. It doesn't hurt just yourself, but everyone. What happens if Austin sees tonight?" "He won't Nathaly."  Tonight was the night that I was waiting for since the day I was born 29 years ago. I was going to a Of Mice & Men concert plus I have backstage passes to meet the band. I saved all my money from my jobs, birthdays, and everything else. It was the day I had counted down for months and months.
