EPIGRAPH:
"Not all those who
wander are lost"
- J.R.R. Tolkien
EXTENDED SUMMARY:
When Lane Emerstan found Ivor Bennett, she had no idea that she had managed to find the only boy in the entire world with the ability to break America: not once, but twice.
Lane was not prepared for Ivor, in very much the same way that Ivor was not prepared for Lane. And what do you do with the unexpected?
You drag it on a journey filled to the brim with dodgy motels and wrap-around sunglasses, of course.
AUTHOR'S NOTE:
I dreamed up this story because I first dreamed up the feeling I wished someone to have after reading it.
I do not dream of this story becoming incredibly widely appreciated, nor exceptionally highly regarded. I dream of someone feeling something while reading it.
