"But he's not even real." The boy said, he's taller then her, which makes her a little upset. So the girl stands on her toes to reach his height, her hands going to her hips and she glares at him.
"He so is, and you can't do anything about it." The little girl yells, her [E/C] orbs held anger, which made her brother swallow nervously. But he held his ground. Why should he be scared of her? She's only three years younger.
The little boy pushed her back a bit, she caught her balance and glared once again. "He's not real, [Y/N]."
"I'm telling mom!" She shouted, her nose was red from the cold that surrounded them. They stood outside near their house, and we're currently playing in the snow. She brushed some white snowflakes from her hair before running inside, calling out for her mother.
"Mom!" She called. "Mom!" The girl ran around the house, she had left the door open. Making her brother sigh in annoyance and run after his sister.
Making sure to close the door behind him, he almost slipped in the snow that she had tracked in with her black and blue boots. He heard a soft voice coming from the kitchen, and walked in.
"Tell him he's real, mom!" [Y/N] shouted. "He keeps telling me Jack doesn't exist."
The lady was sat down at the kitchen table, drinking hot chocolate from a mug. She chuckled, "Jack?"
"Jack Frost." [Y/N] answered, grinning. Making her brother cross his arms and mutter about how weird she is.
Their mother looked towards him, and then back at [Y/N]. She looked as if she was trying to pick out her words carefully. "I don't think it's possible for me to make Evan believe in Jack Frost anymore, [Y/N]."
The little girl dropped her arms, and pouted. "But Jack dose exist."
"Prove it." Evan challenged, making his sister look behind her and glare.
"Fine, I will prove it!" She grabbed onto her brothers hand, and pulled him away, they ran towards the big door in front of them, and [Y/N] tugged it open, she ran around in the snow and then spread out her arms. "See?" She yelled.
Evan shook his head, and furrowed his eyebrows at his sister. "What?"
She turned to her brother and pouted. "The snow, Jack's making it snow."
He looked around, and then laughed a bit. "Oh, come on. Jack Frost doesn't make it snow. "
"Yes he dose!"
"Is he here right now?" Evan asked [Y/N], she looked confused by his question at first, and then looked around her.
"No. He's probably making it snow somewhere else, he dose that." She answered, making Evan scoff.
"Excuses, excuses." He muttered. He walked back inside, and [Y/N]'s eyes filled with sadness.
"Your not going to build a snowman with me anymore?" She half-whispered, her voice cracking a bit as she tried not to cry. "You always build snowmen with me."
Evan looked at his sisters face, and noticed a couple of tears falling out of her eyes. "I'm not feeling it anymore. Maybe later." He shut the door, and left it unlocked. Just in case she wanted to come back inside. He knew what he was doing was kind of rude, but he didn't really care that much.
She was eight, and he was eleven. He didn't really feel like going outside much anymore. He liked staying inside and playing video games, but he actually agreed to go and build a snowman with her, yet right before they did, it turned into an argument about Jack Frost. Leading to here.
While he walked to his room to play videogames, she sat on their porch and sobbed. Her eyes were filled with tears, she hugged herself and told herself crying was stupid.
And that she should understand why he didn't want to play outside with her anymore, but another part of her wanted to convince him that all those tales about the Easter bunny, Jack Frost, Santa, sand man and the tooth fairy were real.
She wanted him to see Jack fly around like she did, and how he told her when she was older that she could see Santa's workshop, she wanted to hold her brothers hand while walking through it.
But since he didn't want to believe, he never would be able to see the workshop, and would never be able to see Jack. Why can't he just believe in them?
She sighed and started to calm down. She felt a rush of wind, she quickly looked around her, her [H/C] hair whipping around as she felt another breeze hit her.
"Jack!" [Y/N] whined. "Don't blow snow on me like that."
She heard a laugh come from her right, and she turned to see her friend Jack Frost sitting near her. His gaze was soft and gentle, he looked down at her and noticed her tear strained cheeks.
"Hey, what's wrong?" He asked in a calming voice, he hugged her and she smiled a bit.
"My brother was being mean again. He won't believe in you." She muttered, lowering her eyes to her boots. "And he won't build a snowman with me."
Jack smiled. "It's alright. He's getting older, which means he probably doesn't believe in the others either. It happens, no biggie."
[Y/N] gasped, but then quickly grinned. "I'll never stop believing in you all."
The boy stood up, and grinned to. He offered the little girl a hand which she gladly took.
"Where are we going?" She asked as he tugged her to her front yard.
"We're building a snowman."
"Yes!" She beamed at the white haired boy, and he smiled back.
"Then later on we can have a snowball fight with the kids down the road, sound good?" He asked.
"Of course!" She agreed. "Thank you!"
"Anytime, snowflake."
