♡Prologue♡

Penelope's POV

Hello, there. My name is Penelope Anderson. Let me tell you something about myself. I'm eighteen years old. A cheerleader in our school. Quite popular here, if you ask. Anyway, I live with my Aunt Kelly. She has been taking care of me since I was 3. Mom and dad both died in a tragic accident, Aunt said. But other than that, she never tell me anything. Of course, I'm sad. I can still see some blurry memories with them. I miss them, a lot. All that was left in.me that is from them were the photograps and.. the emblem.

I really have no idea who it came from or what does he or she look like but Aunt said, I should keep it, as this is from my mother. It belonged to her. Aunt once said that this thing can help me if I was in danger.

Pretty much weird, right? And what's more weird is that, Aunt always say the phrase, "Oxfords not brogues" to me. I don't even know why. But, whatever. I'll keep this. For mom and dad's sake.

A kick from a ball up to my head made me snap out of my thoughts. I immediately put a hand to my head and looked over to who might have done this.

Just as I was searching for the person who kicked the ball, a tall guy with raven hair dressed in a varsity uniform starts walking towards me.

I squinted my eyes and finally knew who it was, making me roll my eyes and cross my arms.

"Hey, Pen. Sup? I'm sorry bout that. The boys and I are just playing around."

He said, giving me that flirtacious smile but I just shrugged it off and nodded, walking away already.

That's Henry Williams for you, people. The best varsity player in our school and also the biggest asshole here. I used to date him but I was way too wrong. He's the biggest asshole I've known.

Anyway, I just finished practicing for our last performance. In just a couple of months, I'm finally graduating in highschool. Finally.

I'm quite excited to move out. Believe me, I love Aunt Kelly but, people grow up, right? I want to start adventuring too.

I applied in Oxford for college. I hope I'll get in.

I start to grab my stuff from my locker and locked it. I've said goodbye to all my friends already so I guess it's time to go home now. I waved one last time to my fruends before heading out of my school.

I am already out of the school and starts walking towards my house, humming softly then pops my earphones in, blasting on some of my favorite songs.

I kept walking towards home, but as I have got out lare because if the practice, the skies become dark already. I immediately walked faster than I was before as I am afraid of the dark.

The road seems quiet today. Not much people walking around, almost like just me....or so I thought.

So, hello there, guys. I just watched this movie recently and I immediately fell in love with it. The plot, the concept, the characters. I'm now obsessed with Eggsy Unwin, so get ready because Eggsy will be Pen's love interest here. That's all for now, folks! x
