"Wow! Ate! Ang ganda ganda dito." Fritz cheered.

He's right. The hotel were staying in is first class. Everything was just screaming luxurious. I could just stare at the ceiling in the lobby with the gigantic chandelier and fountain just before you enter the lobby.

I wonder how much father had spent just to give us this accommodation.

"Wow. I could live here" Francine sighed as she plopped down the soft mattress.

Fritz was jumping up and down the bed. It was huge that even six people can fit in.
The room we're in was amazing. It was overlooking to the beach. It does have everything you need. Refrigerator, Plasma, wifi, huge and luxurious bathroom with bathtub.

Hinawi ko ang kurtina sa kwarto namin. I caught my breath on my throat when I saw the view. It was really breathtaking. I just realized that it was the first time for me to be in this kind of place.

How would it feel if I have a complete and simple family? I turned my eyes to my brother and sister. They seemed so happy and alive.

Mas mabuti nang hindi nila malaman ang katotohanan. Hindi ko kakayanin na pati sila ay masaktan. Tama na ako na lang ang sasalo ng lahat. Masyado pa silang bata.

"Ate! Ate! Swimming tayo." Yaya sakin ni Fritz.

"Masyado pang mainit magswimming Fritz. Baka maheat stroke ka!"

Tanghali na kasi nung makarating kami sa hotel. Sa sobrang tindi ng sikat ng araw parang ayoko na lumabas ng hotel.

"Hay, naku. Ang kj ni Ate. Tayo na nga lang dalawa Fritz. Halika."

Nagulat ako ng makitang nakabihis na si Francine nang kanyang swimsuit na pinatungan nya ng floral dress. Pati na rin ang swimming trunks ni Fritz. Binato sakin ni Francine ang isang two piece swim suit.

"Bumaba ka na rin ate. Wag kang kj"

Bago ko pa sila mahabol ay nakasakay na sila ng elevator. Dinampot ko muli ang pulang two piece.

No one knows us here. I guess it's okay to let my spirit loose a little. Wearing the two piece under a yellow sundress, I went down the beach. Feeling the heat of the sun burned my skin and smell of the beach was very intoxicating.

I just watched Francine and Fritz playing around with the waves. They seem so happy and trouble-free.

Marami na ring tao dahil summer na. Maraming foreigners na nagswiswimming sa beach. I spotted a couple making out in dry heat. I was hiding under a huge umbrella and had my shades on.

Kahit nakakaengganyong maligo sa dagat parang sumasakit ang ulo ko sa init ng araw.
I was contented to sit on the sand and watch my siblings.

The first day we had on the island was perfect. Lahat na yata ng activities gustong subukan ng dalawa. Nagscuba diving, snorkeling, surfing, banana boat. Halos hindi ko na maibangon ang katawan ko kinabukasan. Pero hindi naman matutumbasan ang kaligayahan ng mga kapatid ko.

That night we set up a bonfire. I just realized that it's been too long when we bonded together. I missed them so much.

At ngayon na maayos na kaming magkakapatid, parang wala nang gugulo samin. I will protect them with all my life.

Nakahiga kami isang blanket sa tabing dagat malapit sa bonfire. The sky was so clear and the stars were bright.

"Ate, nakikita kaya tayo ni Mama ngayon kung nasan man sya.?" Biglang tanong ni Fritz.

"Syempre naman Fritz. Lagi nya tayong binabantayan. Kahit wala na sya lagi pa rin syang nandyan sa tabi natin." Si Francine ang sumagot.

"I miss Mama and Papa."
