It has been 10 years since Metal Striker died saving the city but the citizens are not looking forward to the day: The Death Anniversary of Metal Striker. Children looked up to him and now they have dreams of following his path but things haven't changed since he died, his family has moved on yet they still cannot get over it.
When young boy named Tom is bullied by a few children because of his obsession of being a hero, one night he wishes upon a star for Metal Striker to return. As soon as he wishes, lightning strikes at the tombstone of Rick Riker and he rises up.(It is revealed that he is reborn but has a few memories from his past),he reacts in shock and looks over the city as he sees many crimes have been happening yet he was not there to stop it.
He is summoned by another Elder Gold who goes by the name ETK God, upon speaking to ETK God he realises that Tom wished him back but he cannot go back to the city as Rick Riker. In the history timeline, Rick Riker died but if Rick returned right now then it would mess up the whole timeline and the future would change.
He is asked to change his identity and he learns that he is also Age Mortal which means he would not die even if he was really old. With his new looks and new name, he goes back to school as Johnny Mercer. He meets a few students and quickly makes friends with a few girls but he instantly has his eye on Brooke Wilson who is a intelligent girl yet she is shy.
