"Luke, look!" Lacey pointed at something outside the window.  Cranking my head to try and see what she was pointing at but I had no luck since Luke's body got in the way.

"Lacey and Luke, come over here and eat your breakfast." Mum told Frick and Frack. The two turned around from facing the window.

Lacey ran over to mum, grabbing on to her shirt, "Mum, look, that's Kenzie! We played soccer with her and Kota and Brian yesterday."

"Aka, Lacey's boyfriend." Luke smirked, taunting Lacey.

"He's not my boyfriend Luke!" she fought back. I decided it was my turn to join ion this fun.

Raising my eye brows at Lace, "So Lacey, you have a boyfriend?" Her body slowly turned around, facing me, she didn't even say a word. She just stared at me, her eyes squinting shut.

"Luke likes Kota." and with that she turned around and skipped out of the kitchen.

"So Luke, Kota?" I asked, looking at my cereal and looking at him out of the corner of my eye. His reaction was, well, his face was totally blank. Within seconds, he recovered and began eating his waffles.

"No. I do not like her." he responded, looking up, out the window, something caught his eye. I looked out of the window to try and see what has his attention, and it was this girl. She looked to be about Luke's age, she has long, brown hair, and she was walking around in Adidas shorts and a t-shirt. I couldn't see her face since her back was facing me, so I can't tell what she looks like.

"Is that Kota?" I asked, grabbing his attention away from our neighbor, looking back down at his waffles. Stabbing his waffles with his fork, he shoved the food into his mouth, taking his good old time to answer me.

"Yea it is." trying to hide the smile that was creeping up on him.

"And you like Kota?" I asked, in between my bites of cereal.

Pushing his chair out from underneath him, picking up his plate, setting it down in the sink, he shrugged his shoulders and walked out into the next room. I went back to eating my cereal, playing on my phone. None of my friends are up since it's morning here in New York, and well, in the Ireland, I have no idea what time it is.

"Brian!!! Stop!!" my head jerked up to the window because of those shrill screams, I looked to see what was going on. Outside, is Brian and Lace, having a water gun fight with Kota, and I assume, Brian. Running from behind round of their house, is another girl, she looks to be a little older than Kota. I think Brian said her name is Kenzie, or Kayla, no, he said Kenzie. Her hair was pulled back, but it looked like it was falling out, and she also wore Adidas shorts and a t-shirt. Her t-shirt is blue, red and purple tye dye, personally, I'm a fan of the shirt. She was chasing Brian and Lacey around, spraying them with her gun.

It looks fun out there. I should go out and join. What if they say no? That will be so embarrassing, I can't allow that to happen. I think I should just stay inside and do nothing... Maybe I should go outside. Bringing myself to stand, I walked over next to the window, watching them run around. I'll just go upstairs to my room, they'll be done by the time I decide to go outside anyway.

Stepping away from the window and back to where I was sitting, I picked up my bowl and set it in the sink. Making my way up the stairs, indistinct voices caught my attention. It sounded like multiple voices, I followed the voices into my mud room. Peeking inside, are Luke and Lacey. Oh, that't totally normal. Turning back around I started heading towards the stairs again, "Niall!"

Groaning, I went back down the stairs and went into the living room, where my mum was sitting on the couch. "Yes mum?"

"Lacey and Luke brought their friends over, and I will be leaving in half of an hour to go to the market. Please keep an eye on them." she asked, not once looking away from her magazine.

I nodded my head, wait she can't see me because she is too occupied by her magazine. "Yes mum."

"Thank you Niall." Once, again I started heading up to the stairs, finally making it to my room. What friends do they have over? We haven't had school yet so that means no school friends. Maybe, when they went to the park yesterday they made friends there. Wait, they didn't go to the park yesterday. They were supposed to, but instead they went to our new neighbors' house. So, that means the friends they have over are the neighbors.

I rested my body on my mattress, laying my head in between my pillows, closing my eyes. When I was about to drift off onto my sleep, a realization hit me, like a truck.

Kenzie is over. She is inside of my house. And I am upstairs, locking myself away in my room, about to fall asleep.
