We were still in my house, the air was cold and the room was full of an eerie silence. Shadows creeped off the walls and specs of dust deteriated into thin air. We were sat there for what seemed like decades and our breaths were raspy and with each draw we found ourselves yawning silently trying not to draw attention to ourselves, I began whispering to luke as he sat there almost like he wasn't living but I knew he most certaintly was. "Luke what should we do,do you have any ideas?" I ask with a sort of croakyness in my voice." Nope and we have no weapons either" he replied in an unsoothing manner as if he was trying to over exaggerate the circumstances.
"Well that's were your wrong, follow me" I say and I move silently but swiftly through the dark confined corridors watching my every step as it could result almost certainly fatal. I reach the end of the corridor and I hear footsteps behind me only making the slightest noise but luckly it will not be enough to attract those hellish creatures that walk this designated earth in search of tasty morsels to devour and ravenously tear apart their insides and after that aimlessly wonder about in search of more food they just won't stop will they?.
I reach the stairs and this whole scene seems weird and creepy as we are all consumed in darkness, the srairs were very narrow but I could glide up them with ease like a bat chasing its prey that awaits its gloomy yet purposful fate. I take up the last step turning left to face my room. I walk in and feel around for my flashlight that I had left there before the gathering. I place my hand over something solid and as cold as steel, I almost scream in delight as it is the flashlight I had grasp. I flick the switch and the room is lit up by an unearthly glow that's when I see it. Written on the walls in blood were the words 'I told you so'. I walk up to the wall and I cannot get my head around how or when them words got there, but I could get my head round the current situation.
I snap out of my current daze and open up the wardrobe. It was carved and smooth, the patterns on it were amazing and with one tug it came open revealing mounts of unused weapons, fully stocked up with ammunition. The group stared up in amazment and the hundreds of weapons infront of us, it was like we had just won the lottery. The group started jumping up and down and chattering loudly. I hear loads of moans from outside and tell the group to be quiet. But it was to late they knew we were here. I turned to the window and pulled of the block of wood that was once barricading it and it revealed the sun just beyond the horizon its flames flickering of the surface like it was continplating our every move.
I quickly climbed out and clung to the wall grasping for the slanted roof. I pull myself up and hear a crash below me. They were in. The gang followed me onto the roof and luke had manged to grab a weapon for all of us on the way out but that means we were going to have to come back for the rest at a later time. Clara was the last to climb up, I reach out my hand and she grabs it and tries to pull herself up. A moment later she was almost up but sadly a decomposing hand had grabbed her, followed my three more decayed hands and she was yanked out of my grasp. I turned away and made my way to the others waiting on top of the fairly old roof to tell them what had just happened to clara. They were all dissapointed at the tradgic event that had just happened and that she would be greatly missed by rick and the others. Assessing the current problem I decided that it would be best if we jumped for the next roof and then we could make our way to dangerous grounds.
Ground level. I quickly ran and lept at the not to distance roof firing my arms up into action and I reach it with ease next follows caitlin and she makes it without any trouble at all then follows melissa, luke and rick. We hear a loud noise and are startled by part of the roof that we had just came from had collapsed and caved into darkness along with ricks group he had come with. We knew they were not making it out of that ditch alive. We scurried along the roof of the second house and I peered over the side there was a set of ladders leading down from the top to the bottom. These ladders were pretty rusty and old so we would have to be careful climbing down or this could prove to be treacherous.
