The bell that says "schools over" finally rang after a very long day. It was the last day of school and I was soooo ready for summer to start. My best friend Sarin and I made a list of "Things To Accomplish Before Our Sophomore Year". We were sleep deprived from staying up watching 2 full seasons of Supernatural on Netfliix when we made the list so we probably won't do half the things we said we would.

Interrupting my train of thought, Sarin slammed into me as I walked to my locker to get my bag. "Hey! Ready for summer? I know I am" Sarin said enthusiasticaly.

"Sure! I'm ready to spend every day on the couch or in bed watching Netflix and eating everything in my house." I said mocking her hyperness.

"No. We made a list and we promised we would do them! So you are NOT spending your summer as a couch potato." She waved the sloppily handwritten list in front of my face.

Snatching it away I began to read " 'Sky diving, undersea exploring, partying, get drunk for the first time, get a pet pig...' do I need to go on?" I began to put in the combination to open my locker. "Besides, you don't expect to actually do all these things do you? This sounds like a death wish of an adrenaline junkie."

"Yes! Okay maybe not all. But definitely 'Get a hot boyfriend, having my first kiss, go on an actual date, and have the best summer ever'."

I grabbed my bag and closed my locker, facing her,"Hey the first kiss is for you."

"Tripping and landing on Jonathan and having your lips touching by accident does not count as your first kiss."

"Fine, whatever." I said as I started walking again just to get stopped by the hottest boy in school.

"Hey Sarin, you wanna go to public pool tonight?" He said giving us a smirk.

"I didn't think the pool was open at night." I said

"Its not." He winked at me. "We can always jump over the fence."

"That's illegal."

"Not unless you get caught. So what will it be?"

"Um....s-sure." Sarin said with a dreamy look in her eyes.

"I-I'll pass." I said shyly

"Okay. Well I guess I'll see ya there" he winked at Sarin before walking away.

Before I knew it Sarin punches me in the arm,"What the he'll was that!?! The hottest guy in town askes if you want to hang out and you say 'I'll pass'!?!"

"You know I don't do stuff like that!"

"And that's why your such a loser!"

"Keep your voice down! The whole world doesn't need to know that."

"I think it already knows by you making stupid decisions like saying no to Michael London!"

I just glared at her as may mom pulls up to the front of the school. "Mom's here. Talk to you later."

"Bye loser" she said waving to me as I got in the car and drove off.

"What was that all about?" My mom asked curiously of what just happened.

"Oh you know the usual. I rejected the hottest guy in town and now I'm a complete loser." I said casually.

She chuckled nervously. I didn't think anything of it so I just turned the radio up.
