Chapter 10: Just a Fling

Natsu repeated over and over in his head about what Lucy had said.

"Loke...cheated on her?" Natsu mumbled to himself while walking to school.
Lucy had taken the day off because of 'Illness' so he was stuck all day alone.

Although there was Gray.

But lately He's noticed Gray had been somewhat avoiding him at school.
'Wonder what's that about..?' Natsu thought and let out a groan.

................................ Last period

"THATS IT!!" Natsu raged and ran up behind the black haired boy and threw his shoe at him as hard as he could.

Gray tumbled to the grounded, rubbing his head.

"Natsu?! What the hell!?!" He yelled back at his so called 'lover'.

"DONT WHAT THE HELL ME! YOU HAVE BEEN AVOIDING ME FOR THE LAST TWO FREAKIN WEEKS."

You could basically see the smoke coming out of Natsu's nose, almost like a dragon.

"God can you not even take a hint Sakura brain!" Gray clicked.

'Hint...? What hint?'

Gray stood up and ran Natsu into the corner of the school wall. And it was a rough and mean push, not like his usual self.

"It was all a joke man..." Gray sighed.

'No.'

"It was just a mean prank from Laxus... Payback on his ex you know?"

'No.' 'No no no no no.'

"You...can't be..." Natsu stuttered.

This was all just a bad joke? All because of Laxus? Gray was never...

"In love with you." Gray finished.

Natsu looked up and stared Gray in the eyes.

"I was never love with you." He said and turned away.

"So just leave me alone already, I don't have time to waste on people like you."

Natsu slowly slumped down the wall.

It was all just... A bad joke.

Natsu walked down the hallway with his head down low.

It had been a month since Gray had broken up with Natsu, although to be fair they never even started dating in the first place. They never even kissed or did..well various other things.

"We never even found out who's the uke and who's the seme..." Natsu pouted to himself.

"Your the uke no doubt." A voice laughed behind him.

"Lisanna..." He said and greeted the cute little white haired girl.

"Hey pinky haven't talked to you in a while." She playfully punched Natsu's shoulder.

Natsu smiled. Right there was Lisanna. There had always been Lisanna, the girl of his dreams that Laxus had taken away.

"I heard you know, about Gray..." Lisanna whispered gently.

Granted Natsu was hurt but he wasn't a fucking baby bird.

"Oh...that. Haha don't worry about it... I'm not even mad at all."

Lisanna pulled Natsu into a hug.
Good lord did he miss this.

"I'm going to worry, after what Laxus did I'm never talking to him again. Honestly doing that to his ex who's still in love with him is not called for." Lisanna stroked Natsu's hair.

Wait, what?

Natsu grabbed Lisanna's shoulders and pushed her off.

"God who am I kidding... I don't even know who I'm in love with anymore..." Natsu sighed.

"What?" Lisanna innocently smiled.
