Chapter 1:Moving

Little seven year old Sean Mcloughlin was locked inside his room playing video games again.It was summer time in Ireland and Sean spend most of his summer inside his room,but he did go outside sometimes to go and play with his friends and the kids from across the street.They would play hide and seek in the woods,play tag in the niegborhood,or sometimes go to each others house and play video games.Sean was a happy kid and he had a great childhood until his parents told him that they had to move.

"We're what?!"Sean said.

"We're moving."His mother said.

"W-why?!"Sean said as tears rolled down his cheek.

"Because I lost my job last week and I couldn't find another job in this town."His father sighed.

"So we're moving to the Untied States beacause we hope that we can start fresh over there and your father can get a better Job with better pay."His mother said.

"W-where are we going to live?"Sean asked,wiping his tears.

"To a city called Los Angelos."His mother said.

"Oh."Sean said,crying again."I don't wanna move!"He sobbed.

"Honey,I know you don't want to move,but we already bought the house and we have to."His mother said,hugging Sean and wiping his tears.

"Yes and we need to be packed and leave by this Saturday."His father said softly.

"Sean?You do understand now why we have to move?"His mother said.

Sean nodded.

"Good."His mother kissed his forehead."And now thats out of the way,how about I make you some chocolate chip cookies,while you and your father start packing?Hm?"

"Yeah!"Sean said.

His mother laughed and walked to the kitchen to make cookies while him and his fatter went on packing.

The day finally came when they had to leave the house behind and Ireland.

The day before,Sean said goodbye to all of his best friends and say good bye to his neighbors too.It was a very emotional day for Sean,but hopefully he'll feel better when they a got to L.A where his new home was gonna be.

"Home sweet home!"His father sighed,as he carried some of the luggage that they packed.

'This isn't home.'Sean thought.

"Let's get unpacking!"His mother said.

Sean nodded and helped bring down boxes and bags.

As Sean helped his parents unpack,he walked around the two story house.Sean ran upstairs and looked through each room and explored the whole house.

"This is so cool!"Sean said,walking around in one of the rooms.

Soon,Sean saw an average sized room with a big window that had a great view of the city.Sean smiled and ran back downstairs.

"Ma!Ma!I know which room I want!"Sean said excitedly.

"You do?Well,let's help you move all your stuff up there and get you all settled in!"His mother told him.

Sean excited as he can be,helped his parents carry the last of the boxes and carried his bags upstairs to the room that had the big window.

"Wow!What a beautiful view!You picked a good room Sean!"His father told him.

Sean proud of the choice he made,got to work and started his to decorate his room.

Hours later,Sean and his parents finally unpacked all of the boxes and finally settled in.They celebrated by eating cookies that Sean's mother made.
