This story, just comes out in my mind in a cold evening,,,

"I'm in love with my best friend"
"Why are you crying?"
"Go away! Go away!"
"Wait I'm trying to help... here... stop crying..."
"Are you one of them?"
"Who???"
"The two boys.... They said that I'm ugly, but my mom said I'm not, she keeps saying, that I'm beautiful..."
"See... your laughing!!!! Your really one of them!" [you're]
"Sorry... I'm not one of them... and you're beautiful!"
"Really??"
"Yes, so stop crying. I'm Josh, what's your name?"
"I'm Jenny.."
That's how their friendship started. They are always with each other sharing problems and happiness. They became classmates since elementary until college, but after graduation Josh's family have to migrate in US for business matters.
"Promise me, the moment you arrive in US, email or just text me..."
"I promise... stop crying please... Can you also promise that you will wait for me? That I will still be your best friend?"
"Of course! I promise!!!"
(They hug each other)
After 6 long years....
"Lyn, at last! Erik finally proposed!"
"What?? You'll just been together in 6 months Jennifer Mendoza, are you really excited to get married?!"
"I'm not getting any younger Lyn, I'm in the right age and have stable job!"
"That's not what my point; you don't know Erik that much Jen..."
"Whatever... are you really my friend or what?"
"Okay okay... I'm sorry... So when will be the wedding?"
"We not yet talk about it, but I want this year, maybe December.."
"You're really excited Jen, its only 8 months from now.."
She just laughs for what her friend said...
"Hon, please..."
"No Hon, I will give it to you in our honeymoon, we already talk about it, and for me sex is sacred..."
"I thought you love me..."
"Yes, I do, but if you love me too, you will wait..."
Erik gets mad and leaves her apartment.
Jen noticed a text message from unknown number on her cell phone.
"I'm back Jen as what I promised, I miss you so much"
Then she hears knock on her door, she is really excited she thought its Erik but...
"Yes? Who are you?"
But the man only answers a sweet hug...
"Jen, it's me... Josh!"
After 6 years Josh decided to go back to the Philippines...
"What? Are you kidding me? You look like an actor!!!!!"
"Seems like that there's nothing change, you're still the funny and beautiful Jen I know"
"Come inside, we have a lot of things to talk about..."
"So, are you married or what? You're gone in 6 years Josh; I thought you already forget me..."
"That will never happen.... I come back for you Jen, I have something to say ..."
"Me too! Since you're my best friend, you must know this..."
"What is that?"
"I'm engaged! I'm getting married soon!"
Josh say nothing after hearing those words...
"So??"
"Ahmm... who's the lucky guy Jen?"
"He's name is Erik"
"How long did you know this guy?"
"We're been together in 6 months."
"What??? 6 months??!!!"
"But I already know him much, and his family..."
"Alright, I'm happy for you..."
"Wait... You have something to say, right?"
"I just want you to know that... I'm... happy to see you again..."
Erik didn't call in almost a week, Jen become upset because she doesn't know why Erik doesn't show up.
Her phone beeps... she receive texted from Erik.
"Meet me, same place..."
Jen was very excited.
In the restaurant...
"I missed you! Why you don't show up, you don't call or even text me?"
"I'm breaking up with you Jen..."
"Stop saying nonsense Erik."
"I'm serious, I'm sorry Jen."
"But we're engaged!"
"I'm sorry... Bye."
She was left alone in almost half hour in the restaurant shock, but she decided to go home...
"Josh..."
"Jen??? Are you crying? Where are you?"
"In my apartment..."
"Stay there, I'm on my way..."
When Josh arrives, she cries a lot in his shoulder.
"I thought he love me, we're suppose to get married.."
"How could that stupid guy do this to you Jen, my heart hurt so much when I saw you crying, so please stop... he's not deserving for your tears..."
"Thank you Josh, I'm so happy coz your always there for me.."
Josh kissed Jen... Jen was shock.
"I love you Jen, since we first met..."
Jen runaway coz she don't know what to say and do. She doesn't show up to Josh in 3 days.
When Jen was alone, she remembered all the memories they shared with each other, why Josh don't have any girlfriend/s? Because of her, ever since, Josh is in love with her. She went to the place where they first met.
At the play ground...
"Stop crying beautiful girl, or else I will say that you're ugly even if you're not" Josh said with a sweet smile.
Jen hug Josh so tight and said...
"Please don't leave me again... I guess it's not too late to realize that I'm also in love with my best friend..."
And they kiss each other with full of happiness.
