I've always been fascinated with the clocks. How did the creators figure out how to do this? How do they know exactly when each important milestone in your life is going to happen? All I know is that I am meeting my soul mate tomorrow.
I wake up early the next morning to make sure I look extra good. The love of my life is meeting me today, of course I want to look good. I get a quick shower then put on my clothes. I fix my hair a little then go to take a walk outside. The sky is a shade of blue that makes you feel like you're staring at the ocean. It's beautiful. Like my soul mate that I'm meeting in 3 minutes I think to myself.
I stop walking as I look down at my clock. 3...2...2...2.... My clock isn't moving on from two. This isn't happening... It can't be. I feel tears on the brim of falling on my cheeks as I look around and see people staring at me. I start getting dizzy and then everything goes black.
I didn't get a soul mate and a life of happiness, I got therapy sessions, pity, and a broken clock.
