I was sitting in a meadow, basking in the sun

I couldn’t recall the last time, I had this much fun

Gazing at the blue skies, with clouds floating everywhere

A breeze suddenly came along, and lifted up my hair

I heard a loud bell chime, and quickly looked around

Hoping that I could find, what caused the striking sound

I didn’t find the source, my heart broke in despair

I silently watched in horror, this dream was now a nightmare

The sky turned from blue to black, the grass from green to gray

I couldn’t help but let out a scream, as I tried to run away

Gaining quickly behind me, was a monster twice my size

I don’t know where it came from, but it had red glowing eyes

Its fierce fangs were many, each one as sharp as a spear

A grunt, a howl, a Yelp, all added to my fear

A door appeared before me, I thought it was my escape

And as I got closer, it started to change its shape

When I reached the door, it had become a golden gate

As I swung it open, I knew it must be fate

The monster had disappeared, I didn’t have to run

I was standing in a meadow, under the bright sun
