Welcome Ho-- Katherine?!

You know, being a vampire isn't all that easy. Especially if your brothers are Damon and Stefan Salvatore. Being the younger one out of the two of them is harder.

You'd think it'd be all lollipops, rainbows and daisies being a vampire. Getting everything you want when you want by compelling people. Well, you're wrong there!

Let me explain.

It all started in 1864, with Katherine Pierce.

                                                   *FLASHBACK*

Mystic Falls, Virgina, 1864.

"Children, we will have a poor orphan girl staying with us. Her parents died in a tragic house fire," my father told Damon, Stefan and I.

"She is around your age, Alexa," he continued. I looked over at my brothers and saw Damon smirking and Stefan grinning.

"She will be arriving in a few hours," he finished, and with that, he walked away and left us alone.

Well, at least now I will have a friend my age, I thought to myself. Out of all the townspeople, I am the only one of the age seventeen.

A few hours had passed and I had spent them walking around town with the man I had to marry. I did not like him, not one bit, but I could learn to tolerate him through time.

I was currently inside my house waiting for Katherine Pierce. I couldn't wait to meet her! It was so sad her parents died in a fire.

I heard a carriage pull up and the front door open. I stood up and walked out the front door and stood next to Stefan, with Damon on the other side of him.

A brunette girl got out of the carriage and helped another, beautiful, young brunette, girl out. The second girl looked up at the three of us and smiled.

The two of them approached us and walked up the front steps. They both curtsied.

"I'm Katherine, and this is my handmaid, Emily," the second one, Katherine, told us.

I curtsied back and said, "I'm Alexa."

Stefan bowed, "I am Stefan, it is a pleasure to meet you, Miss. Pierce." He brought her hand to his lips and kissed it gently.

"Please, call me Katherine."

He let her hand go and Damon bowed as well.

"I'm Damon," he said with a smirk. He also brought her hand to his lips and kissed it.

A few days had past and brothers were madly in love with Katherine.

She was sleeping with the both of them. She's a bitch, but she made me promise not to tell anyone.

I physically couldn't, there was something stopping me.

She had told me a secret of hers, that she was a vampire. I didn't believe her at first, but she showed me her fangs. She said that she planned on making the three of us vampires, and I was scared.

July the 17th, 1864. Mystic Falls, Virgina.

It has been two months since Katherine arrived, and today is the day she said she would turn me.

She said she wouldn't turn Damon or Stefan for another month.
