Shelby's P.O.V-
My parents want to take me to the beach before summer ends, so they said they are taking me to the beach tomarrow. So I decided to find my swimsuit for tomarrow. Then my phone goes off and shows I have a text message from Nya: want to hang with Vanessa and I tomarrow.
Me : no sorry going to the beach with my parents tomarrow but I'll
Text you when I get back
Nya: ok have fun and remember to text ttyl.
About an hour later my mom calls me down stairs for dinner. When I'm done, I watch a movie and go to bed.
I awake in the morning to the smell of bacon and go down stairs ask what's for breakfast she turns around "eggs, bacon,and french toast"she replys. We eat get our swimsuits on grab some towels and head for the beach.

When we arrived we found a spot on the hot sand. When I start to look around I spot Noah and I all a sudden my parents shout " Shelby when your ready come and eat" at the mention of my name Noah turns around and I wave so he smiles and waves back.
I walk towards the water when I hear a voice from behind yell hey,so I just think oh he's talking to someone else but then the voice calls out hey,Shelby as I'm knee high in the water and I turn around to see Noah. As we start to talk and then asks "would you like to hang out somtime you know as friends?"
In my mind I am screaming and sparks are flying because after talking and we have never spoke before I realised he's not that bad a guy he has good grades, he's is funny , nice and then I realised, omg he is a football player.I kind of giggle in my mind because he blushed when he asked. "Yeah that sounds fun ". So we swam and talked until I had to leave I said bye and as I was walking away he yelled bye back.

When I got home I texted nya
Me: I'm home
Nya :so was it fun
Me: yes I love swimming so much I wish I was a fish
Nya: lol I'll see u tomarrow at your practice
Me: Until then my friend
Nya:once again lol bye
I didn't tell her about Noah. I was to nervous because she had a bit of a crush on him. What was I suposed to do tell her that her crush asked me if I would like to hang out, I'll tell her soon I say quietly to myself.

The next day I go to Nya's house before cheer for a bit just to kill some time. When her mom says time to go we both get in the car very excited to go and have fun without nagging parents the whole time.
