My Daily Bible Devotion

Hello everyone! This is my personal bible devotion for my daily living. I don't know if some of you think that I am corny but seriously you guys must appreciate God's love for us. Feel free to ask or comment if you want. God bless to everyone!

Hebrews 13:5 (NIV)

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content of what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.

Everyone likes money simply becaue we need it. Nobody wants to experience suffering that's why sometimes we thought that money is the best way to endure it. Personally I am not rich. I'm just a simple Asian girl who loves to feel happiness. So what is the happiness? Can we buy it? It is true that money can buy happiness but it is just a temporary happiness like what children felt when someone bought a candy for them.

Real happiness can be only found through Jesus Christ. If we are just willing to let him handle the circumstances then everything will be fine as soon as possible. Let us not be blinded by the sparkling lights of money that attracts our fleshy desires. Always remember that whatever happens to you, God is always there to take care of you. We are his children and he is the King. A prince or a princess must not be afraid of those things because King would never let anyone to touch His child and put it on harm.

Don't say that I haven't experience having no money. Remember, I'm an Asian and not all asians are rich. I had suffered too just like you because of lack of money, but I didn't stop because I know that God is on my side and he will help me everytime I stumble. It is always great to feel God's presence even though you are in the midst of turmoil.
