"Please don't kill her. It's only me you want. We have a child, let her live. Our child doesn't deserve to be parentless!" my dad said afraid. I was hidden in the closet. Mom had put me here when the two hooded men came. I could hear my mom's scream before the house became silent. I waited. Mom and dad had told me about those men. The assassins. The assassins hated Templars. They hated my family. I knew uncle had been killed too. The whole family had been killed one after another. I needed to keep being hidden for I could never know if the assassins were waiting for little me. For little twelve year old me.

I waited for what  felt like hours. I didn't know how long I had been hidden for I had been sleeping. I could easily have been sleeping for twenty minutes as well as for six hours. I just know I woke when our dog began scratching the door. At that moment I knew the assassins were gone else would our trained dog not try and get me out. I know that for mom and dad had trained it. They had trained me to kill assassins. The evil assassins. The evil assassins had killed my parents.

The following morning I made a choice. I didn't want to stay in the house. No one knew  that my parents were dead. Not yet. I ran away that morning and took our dog with me. I didn't want to belong to the state. I knew the Templars were ruling Italy but even then the assassins could easily lay their hands on me. No. I was going to live on the street and my dog could warn me  when an assassin was near. That was how I ended up on the streets of Venice. In the tourist months I used to beg people for  money. Who could say no to a child? Of course  the police came after me from time to time but I was too fast for them and I was small too. I knew where I could hide myself but even then...

One day I was hungry and walked past a lot of food shops. I had no money. The police were everywhere. I was fifteen at this time. I had survived three years on the street but that hot summer night I was hungry as shit. I needed something to eat and drink and I had to steal it. I knew how wrong it was but sometimes I just didn't have a choice. I was not old enough to be a Templar yet said Abstergo. Even with my background I can't come in unless a Templar leader sees me in action but those Templar leaders are really hard to find.

I stole a bottle of water and two apples and then began to run away with my dog before the police began to hunt me.

I ran and ran but couldn't find one place. I had grown a little too much the in last year. I am sure I at least at least twelve centimetres. The police were getting close to me. I would need to climb and so I did. I climbed up a hotel and hid on a balcony and  just in time as the police began shooting at me. The light inside the hotel room got turned on and right in front of me stood a girl. She looked to be on my age and from the north Europe with her long golden hair and very light skin. This was a master suite and a teenage girl was the only in it. I needed to get away, but I couldn't climb higher than I already had done and the police would soon be up here but they were also down there.

The girl stared at me in deep wonders before she opened the door and smiled at me. What the heck? She just stands and smiles while a stranger boy thief was lying on the balcony?

"Oh boy, look at you, dirty, on the run and actually able to come up here! Come in. You can only be a son of us," are you kidding me? She is a Templar's daughter? I crawl in with no choice. Some policemen are on their way up here and others are standing down there and wait for me. I give a little smile and then get up and stand. I can't lay on the floor forever.

"My name is Lily, daughter of Lucas and I'm from Denmark," she is so cute. Her voice and her childish look if it hadn't been for her small boobs would I only have seen her as a little child. Only.

"I-I'm Andrea... son of..." there was one thing I couldn't talk about. My parents. My dead parents. A hard knock on the door revealed the police were here. Lily pushed me a bit and signalled me to hide and so I did. Would she cover for me? Save another Templar?

"Child, have you seen a black haired boy?" oh yeah of course she has, its her room. Goddamn, only thing I couldn't help the police with was to get smarter.

"Yes, he ran through the room and out of the door. I'm sure he took the fire escape," she said with her cute voice. Why so childish?

"Thank you lady," and then I could hear the police running away before she shut the door again and finally I could come away from my hiding spot.

"It must really be serious huh? I hope you're okay?" her cuteness continued and I just stood there nodding and eating an apple.

I stayed at the hotel for hours, got a shower and clean clothes from her. My dog must be hiding.

"I need to go, I have a dog waiting for  me to come back," I told her and smiled to her. She grabbed me in a tightening hug before her mouth neared my ear.

"Promise me that we will meet again," she said. I nodded and then walked over to the balcony. The police will still be in the area searching for me, but with luck I could escape them. I sat on the balcony fence and looked back at her.

"See you later fellow assassin," she said and laughed cute. SHES AN ASSASSIN?! I directly fell down and landed on my front side. Luckily I survived and escaped...

The following years waited. I waited three more years and then finally got to be a Templar. I hated my time as thief and liar but I hated to be in assassin hands too. Though I can't forget the cute girl Lily. She didn't seem as an evil assassin do...
