James' POV
The Gala de Rosa was a marvel. Why it's a restaurant, I may never understand. They served food fit for royalty and wine shipped from only the finest areas of the country. The entrance was a large golden doorway with men in white tail coat suits standing on either side of the door and the front room was simply stunning. Maroon walls with golden trimming, a black marble floor that shines enough to see our own reflection, a golden chandelier with delicate Chrystal's dangling from each available spot that took up all but little of the ceiling, and a wide black marble stair case ran with maroon carpet and black railings decorated with golden rings elegantly painted around the bars. The place looked like it should have been a palace.
As we were shown to our seats in a dimly lit maroon room, much like the other, I noticed Tara staring at the hand of woman next to us. On her ring finger she had a golden ring that was completely banded with diamonds of every shape and size and, the cherry on top, a 40 carrot diamond. Wealthy husband I presume.
"That's beautiful." She whispered under her breath.
"Tara?"
She looked up at me and her cheeks flushed pink. She was stunning. Her brown hair, perfectly laying against long dangling diamond earrings, fell in curls down her left shoulder just enough to hit the top of her sleeveless red sweetheart dress that split in just the right place to show 1 inch from her porcelain waist line to the floor and hit her black stilettos where it cascaded down. She wasn't wearing much makeup, only some grey-black eyeshadow and some eye liner on her ocean blue eyes and a sexy red on her soft lips that shone when she parted them.
"...James? James, are you alright?"
She was speaking.. I was so lost in her that I didn't register her words.
"James?" Her face was formed to a curious look now and I couldn't help but laugh.
"Why are you laughing?" She was smiling now. Beautiful.
"Just thinking, Ms. Pierce." I smiled and she shifted in her seat. I could tell I had an effect in her, I just didn't know what kind.
"About what?" She asked as she fixed her napkin placing it elegantly in her lap.
"How gorgeous you look in that dress..." I looked her body up and down. "..and imagining what it looks like underneath."
She looked to her lap and blushed. From the way she shifted in her seat and the way she bit her bottom lip told me exactly how she was affected. And I loved it.
*******************************
After we had finished eating, the piano began to play and people started dancing.
"Tara, would you like to dance?" I asked, extending my hand toward hers.
"I'd love to." She smiled and placed her hand in mine, standing slowly her eyes looking straight into mine. I knew she was trying to get my attention and it was working.
We stood in the center of the floor and wrapped our arms around each other. My hands on her beautiful hips and her head and soft delicate hands pressed to my chest. We were as close as possible and I could feel the heat rising inside of me.
She pressed herself against me and I held on tighter, my hands sliding down further just enough so that my pinkies grazed the top if her amazing ass.
"You're heartbeat is awfully fast, James. Something on your mind tonight?" She was looking at me now so I couldn't say a lie or she'd see.
"Only you, Tara." I said looking at her sinful red lips.
She noticed and took advantage, pulling herself closer. "what about me, Mr. O'Connor?"
I leaned my head forward, brushing my lips against hers. "How badly I want to make you mine, Ms. Pierce."
-------hey guys! So sorry this was such a short chapter, but I got to my point a lot faster than expected. Did you like that I tried to use James' point of view? Do you think I should do that more throughout the story? What do you think about Tara and James?? Let me know!!-------
