The Search

I sat down on the now clean couch and got out the page from the book. I studied it carefully to see if I could find any clues to the journal. Michael walked down the stairs with a normal outfit while I was still in my pajamas. "Toby just went outside" he said. "Ok can you look after him I'll be out soon."  He nodded and walked outside while kept on looking at the paper.

I walked through the forest alone, I heard Michael calling for me but I just kept walking. I saw the words "black berry trail" carved on a tree. The sound of rustling leaves came from behind me and instead of seeing Michael I saw a small bunny. I ran after it for hours until I realized I was lost. The sky was turning pink and I had to get home NOW. I ran the way I thought was home but there was still no sign of human life. As stars began to appear in the sky I heard a deep laugh.

I sat down panicking, Toby was still outside and it was around 8:45. Michael rested a hand on my shoulder,"we will find him tomorrow ok." I nod quietly my whole body was shaking and tears blurred my eyesight. Lee was watching some kids show with Jase and Kate to calm them down. Once it became 10:00 I went to bed only to wake up to a scream.
