Chapter 15

Luke's POV

The guys came over around 7 AM. My mum made breakfast as we rehearsed one more time. We recorded the video and posted it online. Mum finished cooking breakfast right when GMA started. We were just eating and watching until they started talking about an uprising Youtube star.

TV: Last night, around midnight pacific time, a video was posted. It was a cover to the Justin Bieber hit, Nothing Like Us. The singer was only shown from the lips down, her identity unknown. She was playing the piano and singing, halfway through the video, a tear is shown running down her cheek making this performance emotional. As she started tearing up, you can hear her voice break. She's an overnight sensation with 5,000,000 views and already 2,000,000 subscribers. So far, this is the first video on her channel. She goes by the name D23. In the video's description, she says she will post one video every two days. Let's see where this goes.

I knew exactly who it was. It was Val. Her volleyball jersey number is 23 and her last name is Davis. I wonder who she was singing about. I wonder if she was watching this right now.

Val's POV

I woke up and took a shower; it was pretty early. It was only 7:30 AM. I put on a fitted black tank that showed a little bit of my stomach and some grey sweats with the tops rolled down. I brushed and dried my hair, put it in a bun, and put on my slippers. I went downstairs to see mum and dad drinking coffee and waiting for GMA like they do every morning. I grabbed a cup of coffee and joined them on the couch.

It started and they were just talking about the news.

They got to the music news and so I was giving my full attention.

The coffee I was drinking was all over the floor due to my spit take. My mum and dad looked at me in shock.

M: Mum V: Val D: Dad

D: You never told us you could sing.

V: You never really asked.

M: Honey! You hit 5 mllion views! That's crazy and that's overnight. Do you want a music career?

V: I never thought about it, really. I've always loved music so I figured I would post videos anonymously so I wouldn't be stared at, at school and then reveal myself when I graduate.

D: Well we totally support you.

****5 MONTHS LATER****

So today is graduation, but before I get into today, let me explain what has happened.

I kept posting videos of myself singing. I've done Fifth Harmony, to Ed Sheeran, to One Direction and Chris Brown.

Tomorrow morning I'm going to do a Q&A on my channel and reveal myself. I still haven't spoken to Luke since New Years.

Now, back to graduation.

I'm currently curling my hair; I have finished my makeup already.

I finished curling the last strand of hair and sprayed in hair spray. I slipped on my black dress and nude heels. I was going to put on my cap and gown when I got to school since I don't want to mess it up. I decided to vlog today so when I revel myself tomorrow, I can share a special day and let them get to know what I'm really like.

I got in the car and started vlogging.

"Hey guys, its Val and I am currently in the car with my mum and dad. We are on our way to my high school for my graduation. I'm so excited. My friends are in the car behind us and we're all going to go out afterwards to celebrate. Okay! We're here! Time to put on my cap and gown."

I turned the camera off and walked into school with the guys and I saw Jessie with her boyfriend so I let her be.

I got into my cap and gown and saw Luke having a hard time. I walked over and offered to help.

V: Hey, um, you need some help?

L: Please.

I took the gown and rearranged it so he could put it on. After he put it on, my mom got out my vlogging camera and started recording me with the guys.

We all took some pictures and headed to our seats.

The order of the guys and I to walk up on stage was:

We all accepted our diplomas and the ceremony continues for everyone else. Afterwards, all of the families decided to go to this fancy Italian restaurant. I vlogged with all the guys including Luke.

I nudged Luke from under the table so he would look at me I texted him saying to meet me outside. He nodded. I excused myself from the table and went outside.

I stood out there a few minutes, Luke not coming out. I decided to go back inside, but once I turned around, he was standing there.
