The doctor tells me "I'm sorry but Miss Rollins was deprived of oxygen to long, she is now brain dead and I'm sorry but there is no chance she will wake up".
A nurse comes over to us and tells the doctor "Miss Rollins son just died"
The doctor looks at me and says "I'm so sorry"
All I can think about is Nick he has just lost his son and his partner in one day.
The doctor says he will be in to tell Nick in a minute.
I walk in the room and she Nick crying hold Amanda's hand. I look at Fin who is sitting trying not to cry, I sit next to him and start crying. They don't know yet, the doctor walk in so I go over to Nick to be there for support as soon as he finds out.
The doctor says "I'm so sorry"
Fin asks "what's going on?"
The doctor says "there is no easy to way to say this, so I will just tell you. The son died a few minutes ago and Amanda is brain dead. I'm so sorry they're both gone"
