"Sherlock, I'm bored," I said from my spot on the floor inside of his flat as I was kneeling beside the couch, which my best friend was sitting on, and stared at him as he was typing on his laptop for his blog. The famous detective and I have been friends since our kindergarten days, although I only met him through one of his older brothers, but we instantly connected through our love for intelligence. I could be a bit childish around him when I can, but he was still able to tolerate me, even though it annoyed him most of the time when I acted childish.

"(Y/N), I do not care if you are bored. Please try to deprive yourself of your feeling of boredom instead of bothering me about it," He never took his blue eyes off of the laptop on his lap and continued his typing. My shoulders shrugged in reply and I turned around so my back was laying against the side of the couch then handed him a hair brush, "Then, can you at least brush my hair? You know I'm no good at doing it on my own."

For a grown up like myself, it was true that I wasn't good at brushing my own (H/C) hair as it would end up with the strands sticking out everywhere no matter how hard I tried, but Sherlock was better at it than me, even though he never actually used a brush for those brown curls of his. He let out a sigh of exasperation as he closed his laptop and grabbed the brush beginning to use it on my hair, "You really need to learn how to brush your own hair, (Y/N). I am not always going to be around to do it."

Sherlock always said this when he brushed my hair, although he still says the same thing to John occasionally, but even after I found out he wasn't dead after all, he still said it.

"It was bad enough almost losing you the last time, even if you came back after two years, but I don't think I could stay sane if I really did lose you..." My (E/C) eyes casted their gaze towards the floor below me as I felt my heart ache in pain at the thought of losing my best friend and held his free hand, which held up my (H/C) locks.

"(Y/N), look at me," His voice turned stern and I turned around to look at him as my (E/C) orbs met his blue ones with my hair framing my face now that it was properly brushed. Sherlock set his hands gently onto my shoulders and kept his stern tone of voice as he spoke, "I have apologized numerous times for faking my death that day two years ago while I was battling Moriarty and I missed both you and John during those two years! But, I see you as different than any every other woman I have met and while I was away, I found myself realizing that I have been falling in love with you. I know Mycroft has told me that emotions are every humans' weakness, but I figured out that if it is you that makes me feel this way, I would not mind and I cannot stand the thought of losing you."

A soft giggle escaped my lips at his sweet, yet intellectual, confession, but my giggles ended up turning into full blown laughter. "W-What is so funny, (Y/N)!?" Sherlock stuttered with his face starting to flush red in embarrassment from my laughing at his confession. "You can be so bloody cute, you know that? None the less, I love you too Sherlock! Sorry about laughing though, I couldn't help it," My lips curled up into a sweet smile as I interlocked my fingers with his.

Although, just seconds after my laughing ceased, Sherlock picked me up and put me over his shoulder. "U-Um, Sherlock? P-Put me down!" It was my turn for my face to flush in embarrassment. The handsome detective chuckled and whispered in my ear seductively, "I'll have to punish you for embarrassing me like that." If my face wasn't red before, it sure was now as he carried me to his bedroom as my blush worsened and I began to hit his back in protest.

Let's just say, I couldn't very well walk in the morning after Sherlock and I were done in the bedroom.
