If history has taught me one thing it's that man prefers legends over men, and speeches over silent deeds. But for someone like me with history at there disposal, well I tend to ignore what history has taught me. I've seen Lincoln give speeches and Kennedy send men to the moon. I've seen the fall oh Rome and the "Shot hear around the world." I've also seen a man fall in love with his guardian angel and that same man risk everything he had to save his brother, but the one thing I've come to find most interesting is a man. A humble man who immigrated from a small town in Ireland. He was a fragile child but would grow up to become one of the greatest heroes, legends, this world has ever known. History speaks of this man as a legend. A story that is told to children before they fall asleep. A story of how a kid from Brooklyn who became a friend to few, a soldier to many, and a hero to us all.
