Bella heard her alarm going off, yelling and loud music playing on a radio just across the hall, she always felt assured that if she didn't wake up at the time she set her alarm something would always wake her up. Her parents were having trouble communicating and despite being one of the richest families living in France, most of their arguments were about money. Her father always accusing her step-mother of spending to much.
~Flashback~
"Honey, I'm going to take some funds out of the bank account to pay for Bella's tuition to Goldette Academy." Said a calm female voice, this voice belonging to the girl's mother. Bella's real mother, Angelina Shinozuki. Her mother had been of french decent, and she had visited Japan where she met Bella's father; Daisuke. During her stay they got to know each other, they often met each other out on the street and before they knew it they were engaged.
However, Daisuke chose to follow her back to France. He had no family ties in Japan and knew her sister was still alive and well in France. Plus, he had always wanted to live in France. Now was the time for him to get a wish granted for him. It had been about two years since they had been married until they decided to have their first child. So along came Andrew Shinozuki. They had decided to go with different name origins for their children. Andrew had been a Scottish name. About two years after Andrew came Bella, the daughter with a French name and finally when Bella was eleven came their final child; Yuma, a Native American name.
Upon hearing those words emanate from his wife's lips, a hearty laugh emitted from her father's throat, he nodded his head as he set down his newspaper. "Give them the credit card information so they have it on file in case she needs anything else too." He stated simply, glancing towards the beautiful woman sitting across from him. When he saw her smile, he gave a smile of his own.
~End~But that was back when Bella was entering secondary school, now she was moving onto High School, and her mother was now where around. She never found out what happened to the woman and she thought that she never would, her father never told her what had truly happened when Yuma was born. Hearing her alarm again, she sighed softly as tossed the blankets away from her body, swinging her legs over the side of her bed. She pressed the balls of her feet up against the marbled floor and stood up, stretching out.
She walked towards her closet and rifled through the wardrobe, her glassy blue eyes, still sleepy as she stared into the large walk-in area until she settled on a soft feeling dress, which ended inches above her knees. The dress itself had lace and floral patterns along the skirt and a jewel-trimmed bodice. It wasn't too flashy nor to formal. She slipped on a pair of black boots which would complete the white dress and grabbed her denim jacket. She threw the jacket onto the back of her desk chair and opened up her personal laptop, going through her email. After finishing that tedious task, she grabbed her hairbrush and brushed out her hair, pulling it up into a ponytail.
By the time 7:30 rolled around she was already heading downstairs, her hips swaying ever so slightly. She was looking forward to meeting up with her elder brother at her new school. She had missed him dearly and was probably going to give him the biggest hug ever. When she reached the end of the steps she blinked her eyes, realizing her younger brother had not been there. She gave a soft sigh and smiled softly before turning to the side. "Yuma!"
"I'm comin, sis!" Came a slight high pitched voice, belonging to her younger brother. He quickly ran downstairs, his own long blonde hair pulled into a ponytail at the base of his neck, she smiled at the sight of him out of uniform. Despite the two youngest siblings going to prestigious academies, these academies didn't have a uniform code.
Today was the day she was starting at Hokkaido Academy, and her brother was going to Zuki Academy, the best secondary school in Japan. She still couldn't believe that she was in Japan right now, it was amazing yet stressing at the same time. When she and her brother reached the room where her father and step mother were they paused for a moment. Bella allowing Yuma to embrace his mother and father before they left.
"Were you two fighting again?" She questioned bluntly, her father looked at her sternly while Seika refused eye contact. Judging by that she figured Seika started it. She shrugged her shoulders and kissed her father's cheek, though went back to Yuma, laying her hand on her brother's blonde hair. She saw strands of her own pink hair dotting along her face and her eyes drifted to her father's own bubblegum colored hair.
"I'll probably be back home late, there's an orientation early in the morning and some type home coming concert after class. So I'll grab something to eat on the way home." Bella stated as she grabbed her car keys and began to leave her house, however, Seika's voice stopped her, she turned her head to face her stepmother.
"Alright dear, do you have enough cash on you?" Seika spoke up, looking towards her step-daughter. Admittedly, Bella did love her step mother but the two often fought. Bella turned back to her, tilting her head to the side with a soft smile etching along her face. "Yes, SeiSei. I do."
Seika didn't want to force the children to call her mother but Yuma did anyway, which Seika adored but she wanted her new children to call her whatever they felt comfortable with. For Bella that was either Sei or SeiSei, and, well Seika had stated that she loved the two nicknames and would often ask her daughter if she came up with anymore. "Ok, have a good day!"
"Will do." Bella stated as she turned to the side and headed out the door with her brother after grabbing her car keys. She automatically unlocked the doors and disabled the alarm, allowing Yuma to climb into the passenger seat. The duo had a short bout over Yuma wearing his seat belt, which Bella had won resulting in a Pokemon styled seat belt to be fastened in place. She got into the driver's side and started to car, hearing the engine roar to life.
She turned to her brother, a small smile etched along her face as she eyed him for a moment with her good eye. Her other had been false that Yuma had always been fascinated in. However he knew the subject was touchy for her. "You have a ride home, right?"
"Yeah! I met this kid Kouka a few days ago and we became great friends. His chauffeur is driving me home! Why don't we have a chauffeur?" He quickly changed the subject, one of his many talents. Bella chuckled softly at the question. "Dad and I drive, he likes driving. He never thought to hire one, except for Seika, maybe you can talk to him about it."
With that, Bella started the ignition and hit the gas, driving down the street, she had gotten accommodated to driving in Japan. She memorized the shortest routes to her brother's school and her own. The rest of the ride with Yuma was in silence and had gone by quickly, because Bella found herself pulling into a parking spot right in front of the school. Yuma got out and carefully made his way through the parking lot.
Bella waved to him and waited until he was with his friends to take off. Now it was time for her to get to school, she took off once more, she always had enjoyed the luxury of having her own sports car. It definitely gave her the reputation at her old school. But this school she was going too, had only the best attending classes. Whether they be musically gifted or academically gifted. Each had their own classes and Bella was lucky enough to choose her own schedule each week.
She pulled into an empty parking spot and picked up her bag, humming softly to herself as she had her earbuds lodged in her ears, she was singing softly to herself as she made her way to the hall. It was then, that she felt herself run into someone.
"Sorry about that..." She muttered as she pulled out the small speakers in her ears, her voice held an indifferent tone to it as she looked up at the person she'd run into. Though when she saw who it was, she paused and stepped back, quickly bowing her head.
"Gomen'nasai![1]" She stated quickly, her crystal colored eyes gleaming softly as the person in front of her merely glared down at her. His next words weren't exactly what one would expect from the world renowned child of Hiroko Hirose.
"Watch where you are going, Pinkie..." He growled out, his bright eyes piercing into her own.
She blinked her eyes at the growl in his words and took another step back, her eyes gleaming with anger at the rude tone of the male. She shook her head and turned on her heel.
"Learn some manners, Hirose."
He blinked at her tone, his eyes bright as his ears burned red. How did she know him? Ok, stupid question. His mother was internationally famous. How dare she speak to Hiroko's son that way.
"Hey, Pinkie." He began as he watched her stop, bringing a small grin to his lips. "The name's Takuto."
[1] Gomen'nasai; Sorry(roughly)
