The harsh, Montana sun hit Sheriff Dean's face.

His tan hat was full of sweat.

He turned to the right, and faced his daughter.

"I'm sorry, but your suitor has died in a gun battle".

"Daddy, tell me it's not true".


He kissed her gently.

She moved away from him, and cried in her room.
