"Achoo!"

"Damn it Haru, cover your mouth! I don't want to get sick too!" you grumble as you take his temperature.

Haru had been so worried that he was running around looking for you for several hours. Even though Kise had found you he didn't even bother telling Haru you were found so he could stop searching. It didn't help your case any when Kise got lost on his way to find your place. He ended up on waking you up as he carried you back home. You have begun to wonder how he has survived thus far.

With a sigh you look at the thermometer as Haru curled back into his bed. He indeed did have a fever. It was quite high as well. As much as you wanted to trust that Haru could take care of himself, you didn't want to take any chances. So...

You called out from school that day.

***

The whole day consisted of Haru whining and complaining about how much he felt like crap. As well as growls from you every time he said such. Since you stayed home you decided it was a good idea to research the meadow you used to play in.

It turns out that it was still there. Expect half of it was now a playground that was also part of a preschool. It would be rather strange to meet back up at a preschool. Esspesially since the two of you are high schoolers and compared to preschool children, you guys would probably be the scariest thing they see.

Just as you were about to go check on Haru you hear a knock on your front door. Who could that be? Slowly you look through the peep-hole in the door to see who was there. To your dismay it was that one boy you met at Maji burger! The one who reminded you of a ninja because he could just disappear from your sight.

"Uh, [Name]-san? Are you home?" he asks, a slight hint of concern on his face--a very slight hint.

You debated whether or not to open the door. Even though Kise trusts him enough to add "-cchi" to his name you still felt like you shouldn't trust him just yet. After a minute you open the door, luckily, he was still there.

"Yes?" you say as you peek yourself around the door.

"I found this," he hands you YOUR wallet, "and Kise-kun wanted me to check on you since you weren't at school and I had today off."

The second half of what he said meant nothing to you. You had lost your wallet, and didn't even notice? Either someone stole it and then ditched it, or you literally lost it. You start searching to see if everything was in it. Everything was in it, and more. There was a couple extra bills inside it that you don't remember even haveing in it.

"T-thanks for finding it... I didn't even know it was lost..." you hold it to your chest, deciding that you would further investigate the extra money later.

The boy bows slightly and turns to leave, "Oh, I forgot. This letter was with it," he hands you a letter after digging into his bag for it.

You take the letter, bow as he left, and shut the door. You stood there for a few moments just staring at your wallet as well as the letter. A secret admirer? You asked yourself before slowly beginning to inspect the small red envelope. Nothing on it could tell you of who it could have been from. All it had on it was your name written nearly and perfectly on the back.

After deciding your best bet to find who it was from was to open it you end up opening it. Before doing so, however, you walk into Haru's room to check on him. Luckily for you he was asleep and wouldn't be waking up for a bit. Back to researching and investigating my wallet thing! You quickly and quietly run out of Haru's room and into your own and onto your bed.

Once laying you slowly begin to pry open the parchment of the envelope and taking out the letter inside. From the feel of the paper it wasn't the cheap printer paper type. You unfold it to find the same neat handwriting that was on the envelope,

Dear [Your name],
If you are reading this than Kuroko has successfully delivered to you your wallet and this letter.

Kuroko? Oh! That blue haired boy! His name fits him well.

You are receiving this letter because I found your wallet in the park while I was wandering around town. Seeing as we haven't been in contact for many years I didn't know if you would recognize me. Luckily, my friend Kuroko said he had met you recently and would be able to deliver it to you on his next day off school. I'll also take this chance to request you meet me at the Cafe by the train station on Sunday. That will leave you with a day to decide on whether or not you will meet me.

Yours,
Akashi Seijuro

Akashi Seijuro? That name seems familiar... You then begun to research Akashi Seijuro just to satisfy your curiosity. And satisfy it you did. As well as spike even more interest in why he said he knew you. As you researched Akashi you found He was a very big figure in the business world or, at least his father. He himself was a top student at the illustrious Rakuzan high school. Not only that but he was captain of the basketball club that had held first place in many tournaments up until the winter cup last year when Sierin was victorious.

None of such articles satisfied your curiosity much, most of them only caused you more curiosity. As you scrolled on through the web-page you came about a certain picture from when Akashi Seijuro was in middle school. Teiko... That's where Ki went. You read the caption to notice a certain name that caused you to look at the picture once again.

Murasakibara Atsushi, Midorima Shintaro, Akashi Seijuro, Aomine Daiki, Kise Ryouta, Kuroko Tetsuya

Kise...? You scratched your head in thought as you looked at the picture. After staring at the familiar face for so long, it finally set in.

Kise and Ki are the same person.

Sorry that this chapter is short and probably not what you had wanted for when this story came back, but I'm hoping you stick around to find out why Akashi is so interested in you. As well as why it took you so long to realise that Kise and Ki were the same person?

On another note I should be updating slightly more often now since school is coming to a close for the summer. And I'm also no longer sick to the degree I couldn't stand sitting on my phone long enough to be able to write a meaningful sentence. So, yeah see yea in the next update!
