Just Another Girl

*beep* *beep*  

My alarm clock goes off.I check the clock 7:00.School starts at 8:30. grrr I have to get ready.So I got up got dressed and decided to wear my short shorts,and a blue tank top under my basketball jersey from 8th grade.I pulled my hair back into a ponytail.After I finished getting ready I woke up Lily my little 5 year old sister and said Happy Birthday.Once I got her dressed I found a note on the counter.

Dear Jessica,  

I have to work a little longer today and I won't be home all day so make her a nice breakfast plz.Take her to school and you guys are going to sleepover at Dylan's and don't worry I already talked to them about it.

I made her pancakes since they were her favorite."Lily come down I made you some pancakes" I said. She was down the stairs at the table within seconds.Once I served her we went brushed our teeth and then Dylan called me."Heyy Jess I'm outside" he said through the phone."Okay we'll be there in a second" I replied."Come on Lily Dylan's outside" I said."YAYYY DYLAN!!"she said excitedly and ran out the door.I grabbed our backpacks because she forgot hers and locked the door.

When I got outside the car Lily still hadn't gotten in.I asked her why she was still standing there she just shrugged. ok.So I opened the door and as soon as I open car door I heard Dylan scream "HAPPY BIRTHDAY CUTIE!" man was he loud."Thank you Dylan" she said blushing. When we got to her school Dylan got out and gave her a hug then she ran off and talked with her friends.

"So your coming over after school with Lily till 5 where do you want to take her?" he asked on the way to school."Oooooh she's been talking about how she wanted to go to the carnival" I said. "Great so we'll pick her up and she'll be so surprised" he said excitedly.I laughed at him."What what so funny?" he questioned sounding embarrassed. "Dude you seem more excited than Lily and it's her birthday" I said while laughing.We just got to school so Dylan parked his car and said "Rawr Jess's being mean" while getting out of the car."Wow Jess being mean already" said Nick."No Dylan is just being a childish 2 year old" I said and Nick started laughing .The bell rang and we all went to our classes.
