My motorcycle sped down the freeway, the wind whipping around me. I took the nearest exit and pulled into a tiny town, my new home. I decided I liked this place, it seemed easier to get away with trouble. Craving a drink, I stopped at the bar near my house. It's 5 o'clock somewhere, right?

The bar was empty except for a few old men playing pool and a pretty girl, drinking alone. I sat down next to her and noticed there were tears in her eyes. This should be easy.

"I'm Erik." I smiled at her. Damn, she's beautiful.

The girl sniffled and rubbed her eyes. "I'm Maria."

"A pretty name for a pretty lady. Can I buy you a drink?" Her plump lips and thick, brown hair seemed to tease me.

"Yeah. That'd be really nice, thank you." She smiled.

"I need two beers, I don't care what kind." I told the bartender, then turned towards Maria. "So, what brings you here?"

The bartender slid us our drinks, which Maria chugged. I ordered us two more and waited for her to answer.

"My boyfriend broke up with me a couple of months ago, but just today I found out he's dating my mom." She burst into tears.

"Woah, shit. I'm so sorry." I frowned, feigning sympathy.

"It's fine, really." She forced a smile.

"Hey, if it would make you feel better we could hang out again later and I'll try and get your mind off it?" I put my arm around her in a sort-of-friendly, sort-of-flirtatious way.

"That'd be wonderful." She nodded happily and wiped the tears off her cheeks. "Can't you stay here longer?"

"No, sorry beautiful. I need to unpack my things."

"Oh, you're new here? Welcome to Oregon!"

I laughed, pretending to be amused. This girl was way too nice and way too trusting, but I suppose that's not my problem. I gave her my phone number and sauntered out of the bar and onto my motorcycle.

I sped down the small roads in the tiny town. Damn, it's so different from Florida. The weather is cooler and no one walks around in bikinis. In fact, it almost looks like there's no one here at all. I like it.

I arrived the apartment complex just in time, the U-haul truck was just pulling in. Thank god they were willing to drive it here for me. Of course, I had to give the pretty lady a little something extra, but it was worth it.

I tipped the driver $20 and began bringing my boxes in. On my way to apartment 3B, a girl named Violet and I were on the same elevator together. She introduced herself and began hammering me with questions.

"Where are you from? What's your apartment number? How old are you? Why did you move? Do you want help moving?"

I chuckled and answered swiftly. "Florida, 3B, 19, I wanted something new, hell yeah!"

She giggled and twirled her golden hair with her perfectly polished fingers. She was just as gorgeous as Maria, but in a different way. Violet looked like Playboy girl and was very flirtatious. Maria was drop-dead gorgeous and had a beautiful body that complimented her sweet personality.

I walked with Violet to my apartment, her chattering the whole way. Once we got inside I set down the box I was carrying and pulled out a pack of cigarettes.

"Want one?" I waved the pack at her and shrugged when she politely declined.

"I don't think you're supposed to smoke in here..." She looked nervous, which somehow made her look even sexier than normal.

"Who the hell cares?" I laughed and blew a puff of smoke in her face, causing her to cough.

She rolled her eyes and headed back to the U-haul. That's how we spent the next couple hours. Violet and I would talk as we brought my boxes in and I'd taking frequent smoke breaks. Finally, we finished.

"How can I repay you?" I smirked.

"Invite me over sometime when everything is all set up."

"Deal." I grinned. "I'll see you tonight."

"Okay!" She smiled genuinely and gave me her phone number.

"Bye, cutie!" I winked and waved as she walked out the door.

Damn, I was doing good for it only being my first day here. I already charmed two stunning ladies. I'm really liking this town...
