Harry's Younger Sister.

Lucy Potter

Lucy sat in the cupboard under the stairs, looking at her newly found brothers old toy Knights. She was looking forward to her first year at hog warts; to get out of this cupboard, the dust and away from the spiders that seemed to watch her until she went to sleep, then crawled over her body.
Lucy had striking brown hair, her long curls cascading down her body to her waist. She had deep blue eyes, with a tint of green. Her lips were a lovely peachy pink, not needing any lipgloss.

Lucy and Harry were home alone in the dudleys household. The dudleys had just left and Harry was planning to let Lucy out of the cupboard.

He ran down the stairs, shouting sorry Lucy, as it would be rattling and shaking the cupboard. He unlocked the latch and opened the door, Lucy came flying out , almost as if she had always been in the cupboard.

"Thanks Harry." She thanked him and ran straight upstairs.

"Where are you going ?" Harry shouted after her.
"Bathroom!" Lucy shouted back.

Lucy re appeared a few minutes later, walking into the kitchen where Harry was making her some cookies to sneak into her cupboard.
"Awe thanks Harry, but you don't have to do that for me. You barely know me."
"I know, I know. I wanted to do this as I love you with all my heart all ready, and I know what the cupboard is like." Harry replied, knowledge dripping from every word.
"Awe thanks , I love you with all my heart as well. By the way , when are we going to diagon alley ? Because I don't have any school stuff , and you need new stuff don't you ? " Lucy asked .

" Yes I do. So do you. My robes will be too big for you , you are very skinny, and a little small. But that's good."
" I know, am I too skinny ? Because I don't want people to think it's gross?!"
"No, you skinner than average skinny people, but that's ok."
" Harry, how long till they get back ?!"
"Who?"
"The dursleys."
"6 hours. They have gone to the farm about 2 hours away, they will still be traveling."
" ok thanks."

Harry thought and thought. His little sister really was skinny, looking as if she hadn't eaten in weeks. She was smaller than average, but was so was he. He was worried for their health, they needed to be gone.

"Lucy. I know this is crazy, but do you want to run away? It's better than the cupboard, and my friend would def have us?."
" anything to get away from here. Who ?"
"The weasleys. Ginny is only 3 years older than you. Hermione is 4 years, like me and Ronald. Call him Ron. Then there is Fred and George who are 2 years older than me. Then there is Percy who is the oldest child, the Mr and Mrs weasley. "

"Do they know you have just learnt you have a younger sister?"

"Of course and they can't wait to meet you."
"Pack up Lucy, then we are leaving. My stuff is done."

"Ok."
Lucy raced upstairs her curls flying out behind her. She packed up her small clothes, the knights and her pillow. She also packed up her teddy.

Her suitcase trundled down the stairs after her, clunking on every step.
"I'm done." Lucy stated walking into the kitchen.

"Good. Let's pack up these cookies, and go ."

Lucy grabbed a bag of cookies and Harry did as well. Harry grabbed a plastic bag, and shoved the contents of the fruit bowl in it, the yogurts out of the fridge and some of the chocolate cake.
He shoved them in his trunk and walked out.
" come on Lucy. "
" have you got your teddy?"
"Yes thanks. "

They stumbled out of the front door, slamming it in relief. They legged it down the road, jumping onto the night bus which would take them 5 minute walk away from the burrow.

"Lucy, do you get travel sick?"
" I haven't traveled before."
"Oh because I got sick my first time on this bus, it's a very bumpy and strange ride. "
"Oh I hope not."
They sat down , putting their trunks in the overhead. Lucy looked down at her feet, something she did when she was uncomfortable or scared.
Harry reached for his little sisters hand, she looking up their eyes into locking. Her deep blue eyes shone in the sunlight.
