"He makes me smile" a carlos/descendants fanfiction

Chapter 3: Plans

Kayla's POV :

I can't wait to see carlos tomorrow! But as excited as I was I knew I had to go to school. Its the only thing that might help me take my mind of of carlos. So I got dressed in a pair of gray high waisted skinny jeans, a royal blue short sleeved crop top, yellow high tops, and a beautiful rose neckalace(the rose looks like the one from my parents "story"). I just left my hair natural and down, because it was still a monday.

When I got to school I met up with Logan and Orly. Everyone else was already on their way to school, but we NEEDED starbucks. So we went to go wait in line for pumpkin spice lattes, this is why I love the fall so much. Just for the starbucks. "Hey kay! " someone said. I didnt see who it was until I turned around qnd there he was.. carlos. "Kayla u in there?!?!" My friends yelled at me. "Oh ya, hi carlos! Headed to class?" I somehow managed to say.  "Yep, well I got to go Mal is calling and I don't want to get on her bad side...again. But I'll talk to you later. Bye!" Carlos said as he walked out the door.

"Ummmm. Kayla?" nnervously said my friends. "Yes" I answered. "WHO WAS THAT? HE IS SO CUTE!"  Orly and Logan screamed at me. "His name is carlos he is one of the new kids." 

"Well he is super cute you scored girl!"Logan told me.

 "What did I score?", I asked.

"carlos, its obvious that he likes you. There is no denying it." Orly told me.

"Its ok kayla, Orly just needs to calm her face and we need to get to class" logan said softly as she handed me and Orly our drinks and pulled us to class. On the whole way there all logan and I heard was Orly blabing on about me and carlos. Then the rest of the day just passed in a blur. Before I knew it. My mom texted me saying we were having a family dinner that I could not ditch. Mostly because we had to talk about auradon poitics and that type of stuff. I started to get ready. 

Basically all I changed from my school outfit. Was a yellow skater skirt, blue high heels,put my hair into a high ponytail, and wore my tiara. Then it was off to dinner at the castle. Im not just saying this because it is owned by my family. But dinner there is never second best, and the green stuff is so delicious. Even with the amazing food in front of me all I could think about was tomorrow. 

I really hope that carlos likes me the way I like him. But he probably doesnt so its no point in trying extremely hard. I guess its better to have him in my life even if its just as a friend...

Carlos' s POV :

I ran into Kayla and her friemds this morning. She looked so beautiful. I was a totally different case. I wore a pair of black shorts with white leather pockets, a red and black belt, a white shirt with a single diagonal stripe across the front, my leather/fur black white and red vest, and black converse. I was comftorable in my clothes and I looked ok I guess.  But she was stunning. 

I wish that she would feel the same about me as I feel about her. But would I really want to lose her friendship and have her leave my life entirely. Just for my own stupid feelings. The answer is definetly NO. Ill get as much of her in my life as I can get.

The day went by so far and suddenly it was tuesday after school.  Kayla was wearing black shorts that were high waisted, I think thats what you call them. A yellow distressed light sweater with a smiley face on it and her hair was down with a little braid made with her long side bangs. "Do you want to go to Mulan's boba tea shop or The Darling café? They are some of the best places for snacks and things like that around here." Kayla asked hesitantly.  "Mulan's boba shop. I have never had boba tea so itll be something new!"I answered. "You've never had boba tea. Well then we have to go! Come on!!" She said as she pulled me away from the school amd torwards a place a few blocks away called "Mulan's boba shop".

When we got there all she did was ask for 1 green boba milk tea and 1 honeydew green milk tea with boba. "Green tea is always a good choice for people trying boba tea out for the first time." Kayla said kind of as asking me if I was ok wwith that choice. And after I nodded she payed for them. And since I wanted to be a gentleman I bought us some popcorn chicken. Id seen a lot of people ordering that and she looked happy/surprised when I ordered it. We got our food and drinks and there was no seating inside the place. So kayla suggested that we go eat in the park. It was amazing...the boba tea. And also just hanging out with her. We talked about almost anything and everything. We played truth or dare which was hilarious. I dared her to go to one of the guys sitting on one of the bemches and tame a bite of his ssandwich.  And she did it and told how "amazing" the sandwhich was.

"We should do this again sometime soon." I told her as we were walking back to the dorms. "Ya, that would be great! She said as I let out a breath of relief. When we got to the dorms she hugged me. And I fely like I was being wrapped in a warm blanket made of clouds, that was how magical it felt. We said our goodbyes and left.

"Sooooo, how was your date?" Jay asked when I walked into the room. "It wasnt a date, but it was amazing. Just like her." I answered.  "Well someone is falling hard for the girl we've know for less than a week." Jay said as he did the weird up and down eybrow thing. "Shhhhhhh you just dont know her like I do." I muttered. But all I could think was that maybe I was falling way too hard too fast. I couldntbe, right?
