Rescued

NISSA P.O.V-
I rolled out into the sunshine, I had just hatched and I already loved my new life! Being in that egg was too boring and nobody was there to talk to! My mother flew around flying with some odd looking dragon with no legs! I squeaked to get my mothers attention, but she didn't even turn! Her eyes where fixed on something in the distance. I couldn't tell though! I heard crashing all around me, something was happening at it wasn't good! My mother roared at me telling me too use my wings! I had just hatched how was I suppose to do that?!
"Mommy help!" I yelped as the ground around me crumbled. She screeched at me to run but I couldn't I didn't even know how to walk! I attempted to stand up but fell straight down, this was how I was going to die wasn't it? A hatchling dyeing on is first day, wasn't that common in the wild? I screeched for help, my mother and the legless dragon circling me. The ground under my feet finally gave way and I was then falling. I cried out to my mother, she was no help. I passed out just as a giant dragon swooped in and grabbed me. Maybe It was the almighty Kairos?
QUEENS P.O.V-
The hatchling went limp in my Talons. Is she dead? Did she just faint? Oh no what if I accidentally killed her? I swooped back up circling around the debris looking for the hatchling parents but they had most likely flown off in despair of 'losing' the child. I landed in a meadow of Sarjin Peppers most likely a farmers field. I sniffed the hatchling In curiosity. She was a lime green thing with little antennas with puff balls on the end, she smelt pleasantly like honeysuckle. I nudged the pleasant smelling creature in the side to wake it up, to my surprise it did.
"Who are you?!" It asked scared and disorientated
"Um... I'm...uh" I didn't know how to answer! I wasn't gonna just say "Oh yeah I'm the person who basically kid napped you!" I felt bad for the child so I did the most explainable thing out there.
" I'm the person who saved you" I said calmly. The hatchlings head turned in confusion
"Your Kairos?" It still looked confused "you look different in real life." I remembered Kairos visiting me right before I hatched telling me what's it's about to be a dragon and what your duty is and how to survive.
"No I'm not Kairos the great, I was just passing through when I saw the island crumbling." The hatchling looked sad for a moment as if she was remembering something
"Oh okay... Well I'm Nissa!" She squealed. I guess since she introduced herself to me I was only obligated to do so
"Hello Nissa I'm Queen..."
