"You okay Kolby?"
We were still on the bus but now everything was quiet and everyone was staring at me. I didn't know what to say on the phone so after I found out who it was, I had hung up. I knew my face was white as a sheet and I felt like I was going to puke.
"Yeah, I just, can I get off the bus?" Geno nodded and told the bus driver to stop. I felt someone following me as I made my way to the front and climbed down the steps.
"You guys go back to the hotel. We'll walk back." Beau voice sounded behind me.
I was kind of relieved it was him because I felt the most comfortable talking to him and I already knew he was going to ask questions.
"What's wrong Kolb's? Who was on the phone?"
"Lily's father." He cleared the back of his throat and I could tell he felt a little awkward. I didn't know why at first but then I put two and two together. "We're not together. I haven't talked to him in one, almost two, years. Lily was only a month old when we moved here."
"Oh, okay. So why was he calling you then?" We were only a few blocks from the hotel and I was already feeling better. The cold air was helping me calm down and not feel so nauseous.
"I don't know. I hung up before he could say anything. He's not a good person and I don't want him to be in Lily's life. He use to call me after we moved and would threaten me and tell me that I couldn't keep Lily away from him. Then the next he would apologies and say he changed. He didn't know where we moved but now he probably knows I'm in Pittsburgh."
"It's okay. Don't start worrying about it now. I may not know how bad of a person he is but if he's that bad, there is no way he could get Lily from you. Everything is going to be fine." We were walking up to the entrance of the hotel now but he pulled me to a stop before I could open the door. "I'm serious Kolby. You're an amazing mother, no one's taking her away from you."
"Thank you sunshine." He laughed and shook his head before pulling me into a hug. "I think I'm gonna go up to my room and go to bed."
We said our goodnight, him giving me a sweet kiss to my cheek, and went our separate ways. He was going to the indoor pool where Olli and some of the other guys were hanging out while I headed to my room.
Once there, I took off all my makeup and crawled into bed. It was only 9 so I put on Netflix on my computer and watched a random movie till I fell asleep.

"Dad, you don't understand, he got my number somehow and called me!"
It was the next morning and I was waiting to board the plane while talking to my dad. I had talked to Lily before but she wasn't interested in sitting on the phone for a long period of time.
"I know, I heard what you said Kolby but it's okay. Pittsburgh is a big place and plus, it's not like he would be able to win custody of her. He was, probably still is, a drug dealer and drug addict. Don't stress over nothing."
"Yeah, that's what Beau said."
"Beau huh?" I could hear the smile in his voice making my sigh and slap my hand over my eyes.
"I have to go dad. I'll let you know when we make it to Montreal. Love you." Before he could say anything back, I hung up and shoved my phone in my bag. I had told him that me and Beau kissed and now every time we talked, he would tease me about it.
Finally on the plane, I took a seat in an empty chair next to the window. Olli, surprisingly, was the one to take the seat next to me.
"Hey Kolby."
