Her Birthday

Third Person's POV

"Erina-sama! Someone wants to talk to you!" The pink-haired maiden shouted in the other side of Erina's room door.

"Who is it Hisako?" The blonde asked.

"It's Yukihira-kun." Hisako answered.

"W-what! I don't have any bussiness with him." Erina answered in grimaced.

"He just wanted to hand over something, as is." Hisako explained to calm her friend down.

"Fine, tell him that I'll be out in a minute." Erina answered. "And by the way, Hisako. Why are you being so friendly to him?" She asked but her assistant/friend just bowed and smiled.

*a minute after*

"Yo, Nakiri!" Soma greeted as Erina approaches him.

"What is it that you want to give me?" Erina asked directly.

"Ah, I just want to give this personally." Soma gave her a paperbag full of shoujo manga.

"A-arigatou." Erina replied with a little tint of blush.

"Ah, by the way. Here." Soma said and handed her a box.

"What is this for?" She asked confuse.

"Well, that's a gift. It is not expensive though but Happy Birthday." Soma said and she was shocked.

'How can I even forget my own birthday?' Erina thought.

"Thank you, but how did you know?" She asked shyly.

"Huh? I kinda heard Hisako talking about it. Uhm, would you kindly open it?" Soma answered.

"Ah, S-sure." Erina opened the box to see a necklace with a tiara pendant.

"It's beautiful. T-thank you." She said shyly, not expecting a gift, especially from Soma.

"It wasn't much, by the way, want me to help you in putting it?" He asked lending his hands.

"S-sure." She answered with a tint of a blush.

Erina hand over the necklace and turn around. He placed the necklace into her.

"It suits you. A crown for a Queen." He said while smirking.

"When did you become this sweet? The last time that we saw each other, you were so dense." She asked him and he just raised a brow.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Now, his being dense again.

"Nothing. Can I ask you something?" She said.

"You're already asking Nakiri." He answered making his weird face.

"Fine! Why did you even bother to buy me a gift? Even though I hate you." She asked.

"Uhm, I. I." He said, seems like thinking of an answer.

"You what? Damn it Yukihira! I was feeling like this because of you and you're being dense!" She shouted, blushing, heart beating.

"What? Fine! You wanna know the truth? Then, I love you okay! Eversince the first time! I'm just confuse and not being dense! And I don't want to feel so hurt by you rejecting my feelings!" He answered breathing fast, heart raising.

"Idiot! You really are dense! Can't you see? I love you too! Maybe this is the best birthday ever but you're still an idiot Yukihira Soma!" She blurted not thinking if Hisako was even listening.

"Huh? You actually love me? Oh goodness! I love Erina!" Soma shouted and hugged her.

"I love Soma too." She whispered and hugged back.

After the scene, Hisako appeared.

"Congratulations Erina-sama! I know that Yukihira-kun will make your birthday a special one." She said to her friend.

"You actually let me hear that Erina's birthday is today, huh?" Soma said to Hisako. And she just nodded.

"By the way, Happy birthday Erina-sama." Hisako said handling her gift to Erina.

"Thank you, Hisako." She said to her friend.

"By the way, does Erina have a schedule of work today Hisako?" Soma asked.

"Nope." Hisako answered. "I cleared all of her schedules." She added.

"Yosh! Thanks Hisako!" Soma said to her and she just nodded.

"Let's go Erina! I'll spoil you with my cooking." Soma said and hold Erina's hand.

"SOMA-KUN!"
