The silence of the world calmed me. It was silence without really being silent. Cars motors hummed in the background and music pumped into my ears. The crowd of kids bumping into each other , looking for the next class seemed to be separate from me. I was a ghost, looking at the girl in the dark blue jacket.

She walked with certainty, sure of who she was and how she looked, but like she didn't care what people thought. I had been fascinated by that, truly.

She had long, stringy brown hair that fell down her back all the way to her butt. Pretty hazel eyes, porcelain skin, and a button nose fit her face.

Understand of course, that I had no idea what was to come when I spoke to her. Its not like I planned on any of this. I think your expecting me to fall in love but it wasn't in love, it was that I loved her.

Until she left me for dead.
