Waking up to the sound of chirping birds, It was another normal day for 16 year old Olivia Adams Parker. The bright morning sun shined light throughout her room causing her to jump up from her bed. "It's finally SATURDAY!!" She squeals in delight as she rips off yesterdays date from her calendar. Doing her daily morning routine, she brushes her long brown hair and dresses out of her pj's. Hanging on her room wall was a Hanson poster she very much adored. "Well good morning my gorgeous boys." She smiles into the poster. She reaches in and kisses Taylor Hanson, "How'd you sleep?"

"OLIVIA!!" Calls her mother Christine, "GET UP FOR BREAKFAST!" Olivia skips downstairs to the kitchen humming the tune to MMMBop. "Morning mother!" She says as she sits down at the table.  "Don't you ever stop listening to those Hanson dudes?" Asks her mother. "Of course not! They're life! Especially my baby Taylor" She exclaims, "What's for breakfast?"
"Eggs and bacon" she says as she serves a portion to Olivia's plate, "He's too old for you and he's married with kids Liv. Anyways, at least you get the day off today from work."

"I know I'm so relieved. A ton of people wanted hotel rooms booked here in Georgia so I had to work extra hours in the office this week." She says. Olivia spends all week except Saturday's in the front desk at the Double Tree Hotel, checking in and checking out guests. "Well it's summer of 2015, Atlanta is a big tourist attraction during this time of the year." Her mother tells her. Olivia picks at her food and eats a bit out of it before she loses her appetite,

"Mom, will I ever meet Hanson?"

Her mother takes a deep breath trying not to crush her dreams.

"I'm sorry honey, I know you want to go to their concerts but they're filled with adults. I'm not going to go with you and you can't go by yourself. They're 30 for christ sakes!"
"But mom!"
"But nothing liv!"
"Why not!?"
"Because I said so!"
"You never let me out!"
"Olivia you're 16! You're under my house my rules! Now go upstairs to your room now!"

She dashes upstairs in fury, hating her mom for that. All she wants is to meet her favorite band and the love of her life. Entering and slamming the door to her room she plops down onto the bed grunting. "I hate her!" She thought. Clenching her fists of anger she tries to calm down taking deep breaths. Of course being only 16 makes it not appropriate to attend the Hanson concert alone. Zac the youngest member of the group is the drummer and he's turning 30 this fall. Taylor the middle brother and lead singer is 33, followed by the oldest Isaac, also known as ike, who is the guitarist and 37.

But being one of the young fans who didn't get a chance to fully experience what it was like when they were the pop princes of the 90's, It was very devastating for her to see them grown up with kids and all married. MMMBop was the very first song she listened to and of course she thought they were still that small. She never thought that the young teens were already living their adult lives as parents, even though she's been a fan for only 5 years.

She lays on the bed starring at the ceiling wishing she was over 30 years old. "How lucky must Natalie be, to have been that fan that a band member married" she thought, "I think it's time for me to give up. I am only fantasizing, Taylor's got kids, a wonderful wife, and he's two times my age." She sits up and reaching for the remote control, she turns on the tv, and surfs the channels. Stoping at the weather channel, something catches her attention.

"Breaking news! Meteorologists have been studying for the past few days a strange storm forming in the north of America. It may be a huge disaster as it's been alive for 4 weeks and it's only just reached it's adult form. As the days pass on it only keeps growing stronger. As of info, they do not know what it is or why it keeps growing so unusual. " says the announcer on the news.

"I don't believe in this bullshit" Olivia scoffs as she turns the tv off.

Looking out the window she sees that the skies are perfectly fine. If it's as big as they say, it should be cloudy already. Still being doubtful, she takes her phone and begins to research.
"Unknown storm crashes and destroys dozens of civilian houses" she whispers to herself as she reads her phone. Scrolling down her screen she sees a few images of houses, or what they used to be, torn apart and left in pieces.
