*** Y/N POV ***
Why am I doing this? Ugh, this was definitely a bad idea. I'm going to go to my birthday party and I'm just going to end up alone in a corner while all my favourite songs play.
Whatever, I'll put up with it for now but after tonight this it's back to normal.
I'm wearing a simple black skater dress and left my hair down in lose curls. I didn't think it looked good enough so I got my initialed 'Alex and Ani' bracelet and the necklace Dottie bought me for tonight.
When I was fixing my hair up, I heard doors slamming and loud laughing. I immediately smiled at the sound.
"Y/N! HELLO? PLEASE TELL ME SHES NOT ASLE-" I hear Emma gasp from behind me. "Um... Hey?" I said and giggled.
"Awh, Y/N you look beautiful! Happy Birthday Kid!" Dottie squeals and pulls me into a tight hug along with Emma. Meanwhile Luke, Dan, Phil, and Patty are all chatting not even paying attention to whats happening, which doesn't surprise me.
"Are you girls done freaking out? The Birthday Girl needs to attend her party!" Luke exclaimed loudly without warning, while everyone cheered. All I could do was smile as I was led out of my house
This should be fuuuunnnn...
I sat in the back with Dan and Phil, while they told me some of the people that were gonna be there. "Rusty will be there. Jack, Sam, Evan, Br-" I cut Phil off " Phil you know I'm gonna ask". He just gave me a confused face. I roll my eyes at his obliviousness. "Philly, will there be any single girls there?"
Dottie heard what I said from the middle of the van and broke out in a laughing fit. I pouted and whined "Heeyyy, its not my fault I'm the only single one here"
"Don't worry Y/N, I've got it covered. I invited plenty of single ladies for you, but I cant guarantee they're all gay" Dottie settled down as she talked. I smirked while Everyone looked at me with worried expressions evident on their faces. Maybe this could be fun...
*ARRIVING AT THE PLAZA*
As we were getting out of the car I noticed a lot of old friends from high school standing outside the building just having a chat. While I was fixing my dress I feel a elbow hit my arm, as if somebody wanted my attention. I look up and see Luke nod his head in the direction of the entrance "Look".
I turned my head and noticed everybody was looking in my direction, jaws dropped to the floor. "Why are they staring at me?" I ask in a quiet tone. Everybody laughed, all I could do was blush. "Because you look amazing, Y/N. Now c'mon, the party's already started!" Emma stated, linking arms with mine as we entered the plaza.
Everything looked amazing. They had everything decorated and organized so beautifully, I smiled as I looked around the room. They had a table full of my favourite sweets and delicious treats, Balloons EVERYWHERE, a stage with a band that was playing a playlist of my favourite songs, I couldn't have asked for more. This was perfect.
There had to be over 150 people here because it was packed with some unfamiliar faces and some old friends. It was very refreshing.
The same thing happened... everybody was staring at me. I began to feel awkward and I think they could tell. I heard Patty begin counting down from three and I knew what was coming. I looked down and smiled wide as Everyone screams "HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N"
I felt arms being wrapped tightly around me as everyone joined in a group hug. "Guys, It hasn't even been 5 minutes yet and I'm already getting emotional!" I groaned. Everyone laughed and spread out to enjoy their night.
